It's chaotic! No one knows where to go. The set-up inside is unorganized.

Many local tourists flock to Boracay during holidays and weekend. The local management of the jetty port should check, rearrange and see possible bottleneck and review the process in the port. This is the entrance to Boracay Island and the first impression would be very bad. Remember, it's only local tourists. How much more if it will be open to foreign tourists. Chinese and Koreans are regularly a huge bulk of tourist since there's a direct flight from China and Korea to Aklan. If they add to local tourists, it's unimaginable.

Upon entering the port, you don't know which way to go or what to do first. Aklan QR code are positioned on the sides with so many people lining up (or no lines at all) then at the center is boat ticket with so many counters for each fee that you have to pay.

Suggestion:

*For tourist lane- payment for all fees should be done in each counter (each counter should issue the boat ticket and all the fees) ; and not 1 fee per counter. With this, they can use many counters to cater each tourist.

*For Aklanon- A separate line and booth for ticket since no other fees are paid.

*After getting a boat ticket and paying fees, a single line should be made so each tourist (aklanon or not) will be checked for Aklan QR code for scanning.

With this, I think it will be more organized.

Hope someone from the jetty port management or Aklan LGU will see this and improve the set-up while foreign tourists are...

This port is very busy. Tourists have to line up on three different lines to pay for terminal fee, environmental fee and boat fare. There are also no signs saying how much fee you have to pay so there are people who got to the counter and find out they don't have enough money on them to pay the fee for the whole group. They end up holding the line while they signal to their companions to give them more money. Signs on fees should be by the entrance doors and by the counters. There are also a lot of tour operators in the area offering transfers to hotels which can cost someone more than double what you'll normally pay if you book the individual transfers yourself. They also don't offer discounts for senior citizens. Do your research before you come to Boracay...

Organized but needs a lot of further improvements. The 100 pesos terminal fee is too expensive for it's current set up, amenities and facilities. The port personnel are commendable for being polite, respectful and courteous. Can there be a way also to regular those who offer trip packages? A 350 pesos package for jetty fare, terminal fee, environmental fee and e trike ride to a hotel is too much! Terminal fee is only 100 pesos, regular boat ride is only 30 pesos, environmental fee is only 75 pesos and etrike from Cagban port to a hotel (in our case La carmela) is onlt 20 pesos. Total cost is only 225 pesos but they're...

A very busy port. If you are new to boracay this port collects 100php terminal fee. Hotel booking were also verified before they allowed you to proceed to your transportation or ferry going to boracay. During our visit the ferry cost 30php but we book for klook transfer (southwest tours inc.) from kalibo airport going to our hotel in boracay (all in bus, terminal fee, environmental fee for 400+ which is hasle free). There's a lot of store and restuarants nearby. Security guards were very friendly and helpful they could even take your photos, if just you ask them to do a favor😊

Went there just 20 days before the planned closure of the island this april 26, 2018. A small port catering mainly small vessels carrying tourists and supplies for the island. You'll easily pass through with the easy to understand processes and the welcoming guides and information desks of the local government. Ask around if you get confused. The shaky small boats and do pose a hassle when you bring with you big luggages so take that into account when traveling. Although it doesn't mean you can't bring them with you.
