The Villa was located away from the beach. About 1.5km from Station X. In order to get to D’Mall you would have to ride a tricycle. Be careful as tricycle drivers tend to reap off tourists whether you’re a local or not. Tricycle was 20PHP per person till D’Mall during the time of our visit just make sure to tell the driver that you’re not looking for “special”.||The house itself is okay for a big family. There were about 20 of us who went to Boracay and this is where we stayed. We rented the whole villa with 5 rooms, 2 of which were outside near the pool area. Let me breakdown my review according to: 1) Rooms (bedroom, kitchen, sala) 2) toilets 3) other amenities.||The rooms inside the main house were very spacious. Though there was only one bed it was a king size that can fit 3 people. And then the owner provided us with 1 mattress per room. Each room has its own T.V., fridge, a small table and a chair. Our room was the biggest, overlooking Bolabog beach and we had our own sofa. Each of the rooms including ones outside had it’s own bathroom. The bathroom that we had was very spacious and had a semi walk-in closet inside. What I like the most in the room is that it was very clean and that the bathroom was quite big. The two rooms outside the main house were near the pool area. I’m not sure how it looks but as per a family member it was cozy and romantic.||The kitchen, dining area and sala were in the same area. It was very spacious. What I did not like about it were two things. One, we can’t use the balcony, don’t know why. It was such a waste coz it had the best view and was a very good spot to unwind. Two, the lights become very dim at night. The whole area was not well lit.||The pool area was medium size. It has an area where you can hang out either under a shade (which was near the house) or under the sun (opposite side of the house). There was also a hut near the pool area where you and your family can eat. This was where we had our dinner the first night. It had a barbecue area which we made use of and can sit about 20 people. What I didn’t like about this part of the house: 1) the pool can get really cold. Because the house is located on top of a hill the wind can be pretty strong making the pool not well heated. Hard to swim in. 2) The hut area is again not well lit at night.||All in all it was a 3.75 ⭐️ for me. It has room for improvement and I feel like if the owners consider some modifications the place would be...
Read moreThis was a fantastic spot, my dad has stayed at many spots all around the world and agrees Steve is the best host he has seen. We arrived and the hotel was clean and beautiful and we organised the chef to cook meals for my family as we booked the entire hotel. The food was delicious and healthy with everything Filipinos and my western family needed. The pool was extremely clean, you could tell the hotel had a western standard as alot of private pools I have staid at are cloudy or dirty and itchy (not maintained) in asia. The water is a bit cold but once you adjust it's great and very deep. While we stayed we had the worst typhoon the locals have seen role through. This resulted in massive damage to everything and made international news. Our family was safe and our belongings saved as Steve jumped into one of rooms to save our luggage after the windows got blown out. The whole family was terrified, they are Filipinos and it was the worst they have experienced. Unfortunatelly the pool and alot of the surroundings were badly damaged after this. I could see how quickly Steve worked to fix the place, the day after the typhoon already new glass was being installed which is impressive considering how many buildings were badly damaged. I only hope everyone there does ok and this doesn't reflect on them to much. If it wasn't for the staff and the effort they went through to look after us we could of lost so much and people been hurt. They really went above and beyond for us before, during and after the typhoon (for the whole stay). I imagine they will have the pool and surrounds back up to the western standard we loved...
Read moreWe had a quiet and relaxing experience here at Eden Villa. Whilst the buzzing life at the white beach in Boracay Island, coming home to Eden Villas' sets you to a more relaxed mood- just perfect to balance your getaway! The Balinese inspired rooms lets you have your own privacy & sets a more quiet ambience.
Ms Tinting and staff were really accommodating and very helpful. All our requests were met and although the place is a 10-minute ride to Station 2 beach, we still managed to commute easily (travelling with my 1 year old with us).
I specially enjoyed the intimate dinner we requested for them to prepare. This was customized to fit out budget and that too did not disappoint. Will surely be coming back soon next time...
