When you hear “LAKBAY MUSEO” what comes into your mind? It is simply a museum where you can travel, RIGHT!? So let me tell you my experience wherein we had a tour in Lakbay Museo. First things first before you enter the entrance was an eye catching or should I say it is attractive to the eye of the people who will walk around the place that would like to come and experience the inside of it. It is because of the colourful background of the place wherein it represents like a happy place to discover and explore more the inside. Then of course let us not forget the three ways on how you will “TRAVEL” or should I say enter the museum either take the Jeep, Vinta or Climb the unique airplane display. And through the replica of the food in the inside of the museum is kind of superb because as you can see it’s like a real food. This museum will serve as an eye opener for all the Filipinos that each one of us should be proud of what we have here in the Philippines because of the delicacies, arts and culture are represents here in this museum. Where you can experience the so called “tinikling” it is also considered known as the “National Dance of the Philippines” then you can even see more some folk dances that the staff will perform live this serve as an entertainment during your tour. All in all this place is amazing through designs and staff they are so frieindly wherein they also considered some of old woman to work in the place is kind of nice and cute to see them. Imagine in just 2hours you can travel and know the delicacies, arts and culture of a region here in the Philippines wherein it is a hassle free to know about the places of each region in one place/museum. A perfect place for the millennials because it is an instagrammable museum because of the creative design they put in here. In terms of the price for me its pricey knowing the fact that we can afford the food we exchange for chips in cheaper and affordable price outside or in the street and in terms of the serving size I guess it’s not enough. But knowing the mere fact it’s not just the food we are paying for but also the tour that we experience inside. They also have the “free taste” but I guess they have been lacking on “free taste” where in the mere fact when you come inside first thing you expect that you can taste the flavour of the Philippines through the food that are presented or should I say in every region they should have at least “free taste”. As a Filipino, my rating for this museum is kind of 50-50 because it is attractive as what I’ve said but I am expecting more for I know some of the food and familiar of the food because we have so many variations in every places here in the Philippines but what’s the edge of this museum in the real place if you visit it. I want to feel the real place and enjoy the flavour it’s just like you’re really travelling to the place. This is a perfect place for foreign tourist who are seeking and looking forward to find out some information such as delicacies, arts and cultures in a places they have never been to here in the Philippines. And I suggest they should have include some of the traits and traditions of the Filipinos that can serve as an activities such as “Larong Pinoy” and play some skit such as “We Filipinos are known for saying po and opo”, “We Filipinos are known for pag-mamano”, “We Filipinos are resilient”, and so on this should be perform during they present the dances to make the people/tourist more entertain and lively. And maybe they can come up with a challenge wherein the tourist should eat some exotic foods like “camaru” or eat some “chili” for a fun and win some prizes that serve as a souvenir from...

Visit while it lasts, it closes after July ends. Highly recommended for kids and those interested with a quick preview of Philippine Culture. It's like a tiny Nayong Pilipino with free to play-house ambiance and lots of IG photo spots. Came here on a weekend and it's a quick and colorful place, very similar to Dessert Museum with the style.

They have lockers for rent at 50 pesos, with plus 50 deposit that's returned to you after you return the keys. They sell snacks inside too.

Ended up playing pretend with the turu-turo plastic food, there were lots of pretend food from different regions, including those in mock versions of a sari-sari or little general purpose store, palengke pwesto or market stalls with meat, seafood, or fruits and vegetables.

As far as representation goes, not all the regions were featured in the display, but only the popular ones like CAR, 1, 2, 5, 7. I think it didn't reach Mindanao due to space limits probably. The Mayon has a cute room underneath, playing there was fun. There's 2 jeepneys, the real and the cute versions too.

I like the floral Carabao representing a Baguio festival, but that I forgot what the staff said which festival was it. There's also some soldiers from the usual reenactment of the Holy Week tradition. You can play with the palayok pots, it's a self-guided anything-goes tour.

Tried the rain hats from region 2 in the stone house, that's easily neglected since it's hanging and looks like it's made from straw like our walis or broom.

There's a cultural dance and each group can take photos and a video shot with them at a time. The music of this dance was upbeat and the traditional moves done like street dance, it felt like partying, so well done!

There's also an updated display with coffee beans and lots of pansits, textile hidden on the side crack, lechon, and even strangely western fruits like strawberries.

One hour is enough to tour the small place. It is a clear concept of edutainment that's quite inspiring to see. The staff are also very friendly, they are in traditional costume since they're.part of the dance, and they take your pictures for free too at great angles. Truly an amazing site...

my photos don't do justice to the beauty of this place but it at least gave a glimpse of it 👆👆 Veryyy fun and colorful one. Not only is it jam-packed with the cultures of our country (which is already 5⭐ alone for me) it also has fun activities, more rooms not limited to it, and such. I was actually hesitant with the entrance and stuff (we went there for a big school field trip occular) it seemed pretty narrow at first but the guides handled the crowd effortlessly. All the staffs even has costumes on. My companions were very fond of the "Isa, dalawa, tatlo, ngiti!" of the hosts. It was actually wide, with a lot of rooms with not limited to just a single concept. There are also plenty of snacks inside. There were a lot of dishes displayed (only replicas) which looked very appetizing, normal scale, and just realistic. There are number of times my acquaintant asked if we can eat it (idk what's going on his mind either on why he'll think we can eat displays on museums but whtver). There were also some rooms with separate booths of colorful concepts. Favorite one by many were the cloudy strawberry skies. These are perfect for picture taking! One room also presented a performance (which i deleted the video of, unfortunately 😭). And there am I again applausing at the staffs enthusiasm and skills. There was also a part they pulled willing audiences to dance with them on stage.

This place is amazing and bright. Tons of amazing props and stuffs to interact with. I love how the theme of the museum changes every month, we visited the museum with the theme of street foods and overall filipino culture. I'll be sure to look forward whats the theme for the next time and be sure returning again. The staff's enthusiasm and knowledge about the diverse Filipino dishes and cultural nuances further enriched the experience. They were more than willing to share insights, turning the visit into an educational and immersive adventure. Whether you're a foodie seeking a feast for the eyes or someone eager to learn more about Filipino culinary traditions, this entertainment place offers a dynamic and ever-evolving experience that captures the essence of the Philippines' rich food culture. Each visit promises a new and exciting encounter with the flavors, traditions, and creativity that make Filipino cuisine truly extraordinary.
