This is my second time staying in Hop Inn Aseana and it will always be one of the hotels I will consider if I stay around the area but will not be my first choice anymore.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were times that I encountered a staff inside the elevator who still serves me just like at the front desk - accommodating and friendly.
The room was clean, including the bathroom. Not sure why the bathroom smells like cigarettes so I just sprayed perfume inside.
I also did not expect that the walls were not that soundproof since I can still hear the noises outside my room (from the halls) and the sound of the moving elevator (my room is behind the elevator itself).
I did not have enough sleep on my first night (just one hour) because of the moving elevator and hall noises (I think someone was cleaning a room in the middle of the night). I just hope the cleaning staff, if they indeed cleaned some nearby rooms during that night, to be mindful especially during those times.
The Wi-Fi was really fast! Though there are times it disconnects but it returns back after some few minutes.
Finally, during my last night of stay, my keycard did not work. I asked for assistance from one of the staff cleaning the nearby rooms but instead asked me to go down to the front desk to resolve it by myself. The front desk did make sure my keycard would work but did not when I returned to my room. I asked again the cleaning staff, and he went down to check it for me this time. It's been around 15 minutes or more and no one returned to my room while I carry my heavy bags outside. I tried tapping my keycard once again just to check and it worked. No one apologized for that part. Maybe I was already instead inside, and I put the Do Not Disturb hang tag outside.
Overall, my stay was satisfactory. The front desk saved my stay. Hopefully, they can do something about the...

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hop Inn Aseana during my visit to Manila, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The place was exceptionally clean, which is always a big plus for me. The cleanliness standards were top-notch, and I truly appreciated the effort put into maintaining a hygienic environment.
One thing I absolutely loved about Hop Inn Aseana was its location. Surrounded by the bustling city, it didn't feel like I was in Manila at all. The area was peaceful and had a different vibe, making it a great escape from the city's usual hustle and bustle. Moreover, being close to the Mall of Asia was a huge advantage, as it allowed for easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
The staff at Hop Inn Aseana were friendly and accommodating. They were always ready to assist with any queries and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the water dispenser for hot and cold water available outside each floor. It was a thoughtful addition that made it convenient to stay hydrated.
Hop Inn Aseana is highly recommended for short stays in Manila, especially for its proximity to the airport. It's an ideal choice if you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to rest before or after a flight.
However, I encountered a minor issue during my stay. The room I checked into had a strong bleach smell, which was quite overpowering. It would be great if the management could address this issue and find a solution to eliminate the strong scent. It was the only downside to an otherwise pleasant stay.
In conclusion, Hop Inn Aseana offers a clean and convenient stay near Mall of Asia, with friendly staff and great amenities. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future, provided the issue with the room smell...
