The Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Cubao — Attraction in Quezon City

This was an unplanned trip with my brother. It's really in God's perfect time that all of His plans will happen.

We liked how they are able to follow their schedule for confession. We just saw that their confessional box is open for those who want to confess and we have long waited for this moment as most churches don't follow their confession schedule. We visited here for the first time. We don't know the schedule of their mass and confession. Again, an unplanned trip to this church with my brother. After longing for God's mercy and grace, we have finally confessed and repented for our sins.

I hope fellow churches follow suit with regards to their schedule of confession. It goes to show that the Cubao Cathedral values those who have gone astray and shows God's mercy to those who want to repent and convert once again to God's love.

Parking: Quite limited. There are cars parking around thr sides of the Cathedral. There are parking slots but only few. We went here on a weekday and during a holiday saw we were able to get one although I saw a pay parking sign not far from the Cathedral; in front of the school.

Clean, wide, stylish interior of the Cathedral in Quezon City, accessible from E. Rodriguez Ave. via Lantana St., or from Balete Drive via Vancouver St.

Parking is wide, but may be overcrowded during Sunday Mass, as parking on both Lantana and Vancouver Sts. are prohibited.

It is well-ventilated, and the stylish blue silk banners are hanging on both sides of the pillar column, and the Trinitarian figure painted on the ceiling.

CCTV cameras are installed both inside and outside the Cathedral, near Porta Sancta.

Touching and kissing venerable images of Black Nazarenes and saints are not allowed per health protocol.

Contact Tracing forms and QR Code for scanning, as well as electronic donation via Parish's Bank Accounts, are provided in every church pews.

This is a Catholic church located in Quezon City, Philippines. I visited this place because my daughter underwent her sacrament of confirmation. I found the place so interesting because this is one of the oldest church in Metro Manila. Though, I think this is not a tourist spot like other churches but I like the ambiance. The only problem I got when I was there is the parking. I really found a hard time getting a parking. But as regards to the solemnity of the place, the church is really solemn and a good place to pray and stay alone for a few minutes on an hour to spend sometime...
