Summit Hotel Greenhills — Attraction in San Juan

Hi! Just want to share our overnight stay here at Summit Greenhills for the surprise birthday celebration of the mom of one of my friend since my friend is on the other country and I'm a Manila girl so I know more about what hotels and good places to roam around while staying here at manila and I considered Summit Greenhills since the location is very important because the birthday celebrant is already a senior. So I consider the hotel which just 5mins away from the Vmall Greenhills that I can bring them guests to enjoy different coffee shops and restaurants and especially the location of the church which Greenhills Mall had the Holy Family Chapel after we check out.

The Service of the staffs starting from the reception was also satisfying because they are very helpful from the start of my inquiry esp for the set up of a simple birthday surprise for the senior guest. So I want to give kudos to Ms. Precious at the Reception she's so being helpful and accommodated also to Sir Chad who is also very accommodating. 💗Also to the following staff who help and assisted me from the check in and assisted me to video and record the surprise welcome birthday for the senior guest... kudos to you Ren, Audrey and Justin. 💗

For the room I suggest that it could be more convenient if they can also provide even a small table inside the room to dine. But bed and mattress was so good and we sleep better. Aircon is also ok and the bathroom is spacious. Also we like our room view from the 15th floor it's so relaxing to watch the lights from Ortigas. And for the Buffet Breakfast it's ok but I suggest if you can offer more variety of foods and for the coffee lover like me I suggest if you use a more freshly brewed coffee.

We also enjoyed the swimming pool especially my daughter. 😊

Overall is was pretty good, we took advantage of discount promo they had at the time. I wasn't able to get a clear situation on their parking, either they only had two slots or the other slots were only suited to sedans or smaller. One of the two elevators was out of order, but the wait time wasn't bad so they may be just saving electricity.

The room was nice, I only saw a couple of small nicks on the walls. Our room faced the sides so the next building blocked any view, they frosted the windows. Ameneties match what was advertised. The bathroom was clean, no stains I could see, hot water even in the sink. The exhaust needed to be stronger though. The bed was comfortable with split type quiet AC making for restful sleep. TV had cable but it was basic package. Their wifi was a bit of a concern because it had no password. I suggest a VPN for your stay.

We didn't include breakfast, so no comment on their food, but they do allow food deliveries (just understandably not direct to your room). We only took a peek at their pool and it looked nice but during these times, we didn't swim.

My only real gripe is that the listed cell numbers and their Facebook page didn't respond. When I tried calling the cell numbers, could not be reached and the Facebook message still hasn't responded even after one full business day after our stay. I only accidentally found their landline number hidden away in a page links deep.

Urgent Complaint Regarding My Stay at Hotel Summit Greenhill (Room 1412 and 1212)

Dear Hotel Summit Greenhill Management,

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel from August 22nd to 25th, 2024. I was in room 1412 for the first two days, and my experience was far from pleasant.

On August 24th, I encountered a severe issue with the hot water in the shower. The smell of chlorine was so overpowering that it caused me to sneeze, cough, and cry uncontrollably. This was not only uncomfortable but also concerning for my health. I immediately called the manager, who promptly sent a technician to my room. The technician confirmed that the chlorine level was excessively high. I had to go down personally to request the manager's presence in my room to discuss the issue directly. While I appreciate the manager's apology and the room change to 1212, this experience was highly distressing.

Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. On the last day of my stay in room 1212, a strong and unbearable smell of sewage began emanating from the toilet. This made the room environment extremely unpleasant, further tarnishing my experience at your hotel.

I chose Hotel Summit Greenhill based on its reputation, but this stay has left me deeply disappointed. I request an immediate investigation into these issues and expect a satisfactory resolution for the discomfort and inconvenience I endured during my stay.
