RedDoorz near EDSA Camp Crame — Hotel in Quezon City

We booked only one night here as we were on the transit through manila, coming from Baguio City by bus and taking the next bus to Legazpi at 8am the next morning. We arrived quite early and decided to stay in and order food as there are not many options there to eat. The room was very small and basic. The toilet wasn't properly cleaned, there was still hair from previous guests. The street is extremely loud! And there was no stopping, it was loud the whole night. The Aircon is way too loud to sleep with, adding to the noise from the street. The curtain can't really be opened, it fell while I tried to do that.

But the worst of all were 2 baby cockroaches in the room! I don't even know if it was only two or if that was the only ones we saw but it's hard to sleep with that thought... Also they had no WiFi as apparently it was 'broken'. We wanted a place to sleep before our long bus ride but unfortunately that was everything but relaxing and we didn't really manage to sleep well. Wouldn't recommend staying here, even for...

We had a terrible experience. The room, bed and toilet/bathroom is so small that whenever you take a bath, water is coming out from the bathroom. Rooms are infested with cockroaches. We already complained about it and even asked for insecticide but, they don't have one and said to wait for the cleaner the next day. We were not able to sleep because of these cockroaches that might crawl on us while we were sleeping. The next day we still complained about it and they offered as another room, but unfortunately cockroaches are freely crawling around the room, even the attendant saw it or even know the problem I guess, but did not do anything about it, even if they sprayed insecticide in the room. We booked for a week but stayed only for 2 nights and left without even having a refund even the problem is their place. Well, as they say.... charged to experience......

I will not recommend this. The rooms are so cramped. Not worth their regular rate of 1200 a night. They were also NOT HOSPITABLE enough to grant our request for a little late checkout since we checked in 1Am after new years eve, we were so tired and sleepy but the staff managed to knock out doors for a wake up call because of their lack of telephone or intercom inside the rooms. The hotel was more than half empty so I didn't see why they couldn't grant us an extra hour. The blankets are so thin i think they did this on purpose so you wouldn't blast the aircon at full to conserve their energy bill. The parking can barely fit 3 cars only. I will never come back here, there are other better air bnbs around the area or nearby. I hope this establishment closes...
