We visited the water park as a family of adults spanning different age ranges. Getting to the park was convenient as buses stopped right in front of it. I highly recommend using the iMKA app for public transportation, as it offers a comprehensive view of all available journeys and allows for easy and affordable payment.
We purchased the all-day tickets with access to the sauna and had a great time enjoying most of the activities offered during our roughly 3-hour visit. However, I have to mention that one downside was the lack of English signage. Most of the rules and guidelines were written in Polish, making it difficult to understand for non-Polish speakers. While it wasn't possible to rely on phone translation for everything, the staff was incredibly friendly, understanding, and fluent in English. Their assistance made up for the language barrier and prevented a lower rating.
Here are some helpful tips for those who don't read Polish well:
In the sauna, only place your towel on the seats; your feet, back, and bottom should only touch the towel. For water slides (excluding those with inflatable rings), you must not cross the red line until the green arrow is lit. If the green arrow is lit upon your arrival, it means you can proceed. If you wish to clean thoroughly and remove your bathing shorts (which may be dirty or sweaty), there are curtain walls you - due to cultural ways - should hide behind while washing.
Overall, the water park offers a great experience with a variety of exciting slides and activities in the pools. If you enjoy the jacuzzi and sauna, you can easily spend more than two hours indulging in those amenities.
On a separate note, it was a bit surprising that multiple women freely walked through the men's shower room while men were washing. This might be something the management could address for more privacy...
Read moreI have very mixed feelings about this park. We came here on a Wednesday around noon as a group of 3 mainly for the saunas, and frankly it was very average. To begin with, the parking lot in front is paid so we ended up paying 15 zloty for 3 hours. As we are out of town, we were hoping to rent our towels on site, however, we were told that the only option is to buy them which was 50 zloty per towel. We ended up going to Auchan down the street and getting them from there for 21 zloty. Upon getting in, nothing was explained to us so we had to navigate with zero instructions. We had a 2h pass, but because we had no idea how it worked and it was not very straightforward (we didn't even know if we had lockers), it took us 25min before we entered the pool area. As we came for the saunas, we went there but discovered that several were not working at that time. We decided to try the hammam saunas but they smelled so so bad of mold that we could not stay for more than a minute. The other saunas were very cold or small and generally packed. Only 2 saunas ended up being good. As for the pools, they have many different areas and their slides were actually fun. Despite coming for the sauna, we ended up liking the pool area the most. However, just as we started to enjoy it, we ran out of time as their only options are 1h, 2h or unlimited. 2 hours is definitely low and 3 would have been perfect, but I guess that's how they get you with the extra zloty per minute. I have to say this policy actually made us anxious as we had to constantly check the time instead of relaxing. Bottom line, I would definitely come back for the slides and pool, but if you're going for the saunas, it's not...
Read moreA terrible, terrible aqua park. Overpriced only because it's in Krakow. Seems like there is no limit for how many people can enter which just points to disgusting greed. If you won't buy tickets online before 10 am you have to wait in pretty long queue or buy tickets in automat. Probably depends on a day of course how long the queque is. Automat sells you only the most expensive tickets - just to force you to pay more (for reference 1h ticket is 55 pln, 2h is 70 pln and there is only option to buy unlimited for 130 pln per person). It's scandal. Aquapark itself is very small and disigned by 3 year old. Let's add some fountain here, two and a half tours for swimmers here, three over there between another swing and a climbing wall. Max depth of pool is 1.5m, there is absolute no privacy anywhere for people to chill further from others. Jaccuzzi where the smallest I have ever seen and there was no way to get in there because there were only 3 of them with like 300 people in the entire aquapark. The "beach" side is a joke. I expected to have a pool also outside and some chairs on sand (because beach) but no. There is fake grass and like 10 cm deep pool for kids, squirting fountain called 'playground' and beach volleyball - the only view of any sand. The only nice things there were buffet area, system of locking-unlocking lockers and spacious showers. Changing rooms - terrible and unintuitine how do they work. Generally, an absolute diseaster of an aqua park. I will tell everyone that I know who is visiting Krakow to...
