Praia dos Arrifes — Attraction in Albufeira

Praia dos Arrifes is a small exciting and cozy beach. There are a toilet facilities, lifeguard and a cozy cafe on site. There is free parking close by, almost all the way down to the beach. The beach is protected by 3 large rock formations which make the beach different from the other beaches in the area. I would recommend bringing your diving mask as this place is exciting to dive at. It is also possible to swim through the rock formations, however this is a bit dangerous, so do it only if you are a good swimmer. We would definitely recommend you to visit this...

Carlos smile tuk tuk took us here and immediately I liked this little beach in fact I asked Carlos to bring us the next available day. Its on a small rocky wall, very sandy beach with the typical coves and a large skull rock on the water. Its secluded and has a small restaurant but its a little hidden and this makes it interesting.After some sun and swim went for a walk to the top of the cliffs overlooking the ocean and the nearby beaches. Very small compared to other local beaches such as the pescadores but nice,cozy and secluded...

This beach is really special, not crowded even during a busy tourist season! There are a great many flies however which really spoil what would be a perfect beach, meaning you can't really fall asleep as you have to constantly be swatting flies away form your body. The sea is also not massively accessible from this beach and contains very sharp rocks.
