5☆ Dining!!! This was by far the best restaurant we have visited over 4 holidays to Albufeira. Outstanding!!! The restaurant had outdoor dining, which we used, but inside also looks lovely too. The waiters and waitresses are all friendly and eager to please. The owner came over 3 times whilst we were there to ask if everything was ok!! We had a lovely bottle of red wine between myself and my wife, which one of the waiters helped us choose. Thankyou. Delicious. For our starter, we both had the onion soup, which was simply the best we have ever tasted. It was simply delicious with rich depth and flavour. For the mains, I had the salmon in puff pastry. It was superb! My wife had the grilled steak with black beans and rice. Again, it was delicious. For desert we had Chocolate Petit Gateau with Ice Cream and a Cheesecake Bowl which was a selection of ice cream with Cheesecake bits in. Delicious!! I cannot stress how nice the food was here. The restaurant was packed yet the service was outstanding. All the dishes that were being sent to other tables looked equally appealing. I think we must have gone on the head chef's night off (Thursday). Our friends went the previous night and really enjoyed the fish of the day (sea bream and sea bass). We had the tuna steak which was overcooked and limp. The piri-piri chicken was more garlic chicken than piri-piri.

The next table ordered tournedos rossini medium, but it arrived without a hint of pink in the middle and had to go back.

Another couple we knew were there and also were disappointed with their meal.

I think we chose poorly and should have gone with the fresh fish. Staff were good and the wine list extensive and well priced. Maybe we were unlucky so don't take this review as typical and if we'd had the fish of the day it might be a 5...

Great find for lunch and surprisingly good menu. It was initially empty on arrival but don't let that put you off. We found a table outside in the shade with room for the pram with our 6month old in. Very friendly to us and our baby. We ordered so drinks, large 1 Coke and 1 Fanta. Little disappointing that the Fanta was flat, probably out of a large bottle but it was fine with ice and orange slices. I ordered the fried cod fillets €11.95 and my partner ordered the chicken kebab served with chilli oil €8.95. Both came with fries and a salad.
