Great beach with very astute lifeguards on duty . Sunloungers are €20 for two plus shade and there are facilities at the café including showers for €1 . In the school holidays I would imagine it gets very busy so get there early. Good coffee available to take to the beach and the calmest water I have found over the last 10 days . There is a restaurant too which looked nice and the beach was being cleaned when we arrived which was great. Nice to walk along the beach to the rock pools / beach caves . Watersports available but not in your face like some places . Parking available near Club Med ( not in their car park though !) and a short walk downhill to the beach .

Really quiet beach. If you are bold enough to go beyond the supposed rock wall, you'll discover a nice cove/cave and a secluded private beach. Absolutely lovely spot to spend some time relaxing. Different ways of getting there from Balaia or Alburefia but not too busy and not many people there when I visited in February. A bit chilly as its winter in Portugal but if you're brave enough and stay in the sun, it's a lovely place to visit.

There's nothing spectacularly different about the beach except for its access. You must park five minutes' walk away, uphill, after finding a space on the street, and this deters those with mobility challenges and large amounts of beach gear. The upshot is a much quieter beach, although it will still be busy peak season. It has a lifeguard and good beach bar / restaurant.

A genuinely beautiful beach with amazing sand and crisp blue water. There are areas to lay with a towel and umbrella but there are also loungers to rent which are €20 per set of 2. The locals who look after the beach are lovely. Its also nice to walk up and down to see the cliffs, coves and rock formations. Would have to be one of the best we've visited here!

Beautiful long sandy beach with lots of space and at an extra cost sunbeds. Theirs also a cafe restaurant. Definitely one of the best beaches along here. Easy to get to from olhos agua along the road past hotels then down the footpath or you could take the scenic walk along the cliff path which is a bit more challenging.

Definately the best beach to go when you stay in Villas d'agua. Walk the road from the exit of the park to the left till you enter a small path down and enjoy a quite beach (september 2017). Food at the restaurant over there is OK, been there once but brought our own the other times we visited the beach.
