Praia Maria Luísa — Attraction in Albufeira

as with most algarve beaches, praia maria luísa has gorgeous warm golden white sand that slips between your toes with every step you take, warm luscious water with both soft waves and large waves that are great for the variety of water sports available to try, obviously depending on the tides, and absolutely stunning sandstone cliffs decorating the background, which create a more secluded atmosphere, shutting you out from the real world as you are caught in a bubble of paradise. This beach can get quite busy, especially during the summer season as it is quite well known between tourists so i would definitely recommend either going down early or waiting until later in the evening to go down if you want to secure a good spot on the beach if you plan on visiting during these busy periods. This beach also has a great bar which has something for the whole family, as it has ice creams for the kids, and a variety of drinks...

Great beach with very astute lifeguards on duty . Sunloungers are €20 for two plus shade and there are facilities at the café including showers for €1 . In the school holidays I would imagine it gets very busy so get there early. Good coffee available to take to the beach and the calmest water I have found over the last 10 days . There is a restaurant too which looked nice and the beach was being cleaned when we arrived which was great. Nice to walk along the beach to the rock pools / beach caves . Watersports available but not in your face like some places . Parking available near Club Med ( not in their car park though !) and a short walk downhill...

Like anywhere in the Algarve , You will find that each beach ,has it's own character, it's own charm some got too many stairs and taller closing in cliffs ,other, far away and wide stretches of sand Maria Louisa falls somewhere in the between ,has both beauty ,wildness and comfort,there's a restaurant and lounges ,free car park in the back.
