Tatsumi-Thai Phuket — Restaurant in Albufeira

I dont write many reviews, but i vowed to write one for this restaurant. 4 of us arrived and were asked to wait 30 minutes to order even though the restaurant was only half full. Then we waited some more. At our table of 4, a main and 2 starters came out after an hour. The 4th persons starter never arrived. When asked where it was, they said "sorry we forgot". ...more waiting .....I cancelled that starter and waited another 30 minutes for the main, while 3 others at our table had finished eating. The main was basically full of courgette and uncle Ben's sauce. I had a beer while i waited for the bill to come out, wish i didnt do that as that added another 30 bloody minutes to my wait time. Over a 2 week period in Albufeira, this was the worst restaurant experience. 2 hours to get a low quality meal. Avoid it if you want a good meal, great service and in good time. Ordered a veggie takeaway from them, at first glance everything looked and smelled good. When I was about 80% done with my food I accidentally ate a piece of chicken which made me gag. We ordered veggie for a reason and clearly they cooked the veggie food in the same pan and didn’t even wash it. Total disregard and disrespect for their customers. Why even offer veggie options at all? In addition to this, there was a long solid piece of lemongrass in my food that poked me in the gum and it could have gotten stuck in my throat had I not discovered it. So disappointed as we gave a 5 star review on the app before we finished our food as we wanted to tip the driver. I don’t like to leave bad reviews and would have let the lemongrass error slide had I not also eaten a piece of chicken on top of it. Appalling service. The food is decent but the service is appalling. The staff barely speaks English (not to mention Portuguese or another European language) and I’ve been treated like sh…t when I unfortunately experience an issue with the payment through my iPhone. No empathy at all and zero willingness to help solving the problem. I had to go back twice to my hotel, when a simple suggestion to come back the day after (with a proper guarantee of course) would have been more than welcome and would have shown kindness instead of rudeness. Together with my wife and son I felt deeply humiliated. This restaurant does not know how to treat a client as soon as there is the slightest issue.
