Stayed here for 3 nights as a group of 3 girls. The location is great although a car or taxi is needed if you want to visit albufeira strip or old town. My room view was someone's caravan which i found the funny side of but id request a better view. The apartment is brand new as pictured, but unfortunately there are still ongoing works along the corridors. The apartment is well equipped but unfortunately the shower runs off a water tank so by the time the first person had washed their hair it turned luke warm, by the third - it was cold. The receptionist told us that the breakfast was full english, Bacon & Sausages. It is not, basic continental & when queried I was offered hot dogs. Maybe I would stay again as the room was nice but I would not pay peak season prices.

Just spent a week here, and it was a lovely apartment. It looks like it had a refit very modern. I would stay again a couple of things for me that need addressing to improve the stay air con is rubbish and the pool is cold could do with being heated, and I think it would be nice for a welcome pack ie coffee ,tea, milk our flight got in very late but it looks like most flights from UK do and the shops here close at 9pm so no chance of getting anything till the morning.

A nice small apartment building at the very edge of the village of Olhos D'agua. Very clean rooms with air conditioning which is a bonus. Directly in front of the very steep steps down to Maria Louisa compact beach, with no hand rails so totally unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Block is quite a long walk up and down hills to supermarkets and restaurants. Very poor breakfast offering. Staff are efficient but a smile would not go amiss.

We checked in late evening, everything seems smooth until we discovered the Air Con unit in our room (Room 21) was blowing out hot air even when dialed to the coldest temperature setting, it was better to switch off. Our young toddler got woken up due to the heat in one of the rooms. We had raised this with the nightshift receptionist, who I dragged over to test the AC to which he agreed a few times "yeah it is hot here". His solution was to bring a few fans to blow while he waits for his superiors to give him an answer about moving rooms. We didn't want to open any windows because we were bitten by flies and insects a few times already (and yes this was an issue exclusive to Clube Maria Luisa or just our room on the ground floor facing the car park. Not sure what bugs and how).

Our best outcome was to change to another room. But it became apparent that the hotel knew about this problem, at least in Room 21. So why offer it to us? The hotels weren't full, it's early off-season in May 2024? We have highlighted our concerns over health and safety reasons. A few times the receptionist said he "can only raise this with his superiors", we never got an answer, no explanation, no partial refund, nothing over whatsapp or email. Even now, I threatened them to give me a partial refund after a week for this inconvenience, still nothing. Well this review is a follow-up of their automated email, they asked for a one so here's a genuine account.

Generally the place is ok. I didn't realise it was only a 3-star hotel until my partner pointed it out to me. As far as 3-star hotels go, it's definitely not as plain as your travelodge/premier in and you would expect a degree of sloppiness, but it wasn't exactly low price neither. It was clean. The pool was nice. The brief encounters with the staff seems fair. My partner said the interiors are fancy, locations great, but it was spoiled by this technicality.

The clue in their multiple listings on Airbnb shows there might be an issue with reviews there, anyway, our overall 3 nights holiday in the Algarve was ruined only by this small detail which 'management' or receptionist of they had more power could have rectified quite easily - at least, give a response that I had requested. But I would appreciate a partial refund for the inconvenience.

Through reading older 1-2 star reviews i realised they tried this 'fan for AC' trick on other customers even in 2023, except they were given a much more pathetic fan. They are well prepared for...

After coming for our mini-moon last September we decided to rebook and bring along my sister and family who had not before visited portugal.||I booked two rooms, one a deluxe room (that we had previously stayed in hence wanting to rebook) at a cost of £213 more than the other standard room we had booked also using their direct website.||Upon arrival at 7.30pm we were advised that the room we had booked wasn't available! (They had double booked, but had not contacted us to let us know of the issue).|The staff were under trained in how to deal with these situations, making over 10 calls to management/ supervises in what to do.|We were offered a standard room which was fine but I questioned the refund of the £213 more it had cost for the deluxe room i had paid for.||Yet again staff did not have a clue telling me I would have to come back in the morning as they couldn't deal with it, I went back in the morning and the man was so rude telling me he couldn't deal with it either!||After 3 days I was offered 90euros and that's what he said his manager would be willing to give me back, this was not acceptable for a room they had double booked at no fault of my own.||It took me all holiday to NOT even a full refund!!! ||We then asked on our day of departure (as advised to do over the phone before we arrived and when we arrived)if we could keep our room on, we were advised that we could keep it till 2pm free off charge then 10euro for every hour after ans told to go back down at 11am. We went back at 11am to be told no you carnt and you need to be out by 12pm giving us 1 hour to pack up 7 people.||I'm so disappointed with the customer service that we experienced, I'm even more disappointed that we recommended this hotel to my family for them to also feel disappointed in the service.||It's safe to say that we won't be returning to the hotel again which is a shame as we visit Portugal around 4 times a year, been an independent travel advisor personal experience for recommendation...

OMG where do we start, internet does not work, end of story despite their excuses, more than four rooms occupied no internet, reception is a waste of time, they cannot, will not do anything to make things easier, they threaten you with the police if you dare to argue with them, the hotel is a joke, they show you rooms with a sea view, however they do no tell you that these rooms are privately owned and the only room available to anyone who books looks out over scrubland or neighbours gardens, there are builders there who have been there forever renovating rooms on the ground floor, we travel a lot, In all honesty I have NEVER in all of my travels come acorss such an inept bunch of people in all of my life, this could be a lovely hotel with the right management or the right reception staff unfortunaltly you have neither, do this place a favour sell to a company that knows what they are doing, do you not read your trip advisor reports, you only reply to your positive reports which are 1 in about 20, get real and read the rest, they are sending you a message, you are crap, sell the place to someone who can use the location and stop being the pratts that you are, full on the 31st January? dream on. you are a joke suck it up and get real, pictures are of the damp in the room we were given, we were told use this room, leave or we will...
