🌊 Praia da Duquesa – A Hidden Gem by the Atlantic | Travel Consultant Review 🌞

As a travel consultant, I often search for places that blend natural beauty, comfort, and accessibility — and Praia da Duquesa in Cascais, Portugal, ticks all the boxes!

Nestled between charming cliffs and historic surroundings, this beach offers golden sands, crystal-clear waters, and a family-friendly atmosphere. It’s ideal for sunbathing, swimming, or enjoying a relaxing meal at the beachfront cafés.

🚉 Easily accessible by train from Lisbon (just 30–40 minutes), it's a perfect day trip for visitors looking to escape the city and dive into the coastal vibe.

💡 My tips:

Visit in the morning for fewer crowds and a calm swim.

Great for families, couples, and solo travelers.

Don’t miss the sunset views and nearby marina walk!

In short, Praia da Duquesa is not just a beach — it’s a serene experience that combines nature, local life, and leisure. Highly recommended for your next...

A really nice beach minutes walk from the train station, but after being here a few times now it is not a place you come to bathe. While the beach is clean and well kept, the water is always freezing, too cold to enjoy swimming in even in the middle of the hottest days in august. Lots of cafes beside it make it a good place to laze in the sun, but without the ability to bathe without pain you might as well just park yourself in the sun at one of the cafes where the...

We went during Labour Day and expected it to be super busy, but we got there at noon and it wasn’t bad. We got two loungers and an umbrella to rent for $25 euro for the day which was perfect! It was so hot out and as tourists we didn’t want to have to buy an umbrella. It got a little busier around 1:30 pm. The beach was nice and the water was refreshing. Lots of restaurants nearby too, very safe, and very...

Small but really nice & serene ... about 2 min walk from railway station to this beach Hundreds of Seagulls were making the view even more pictorial... One can easily spend 2-3 hours here, enjoying beautiful views from 3 sides In front you have sea... in right you have docked boats around beautiful hotels On left you have another tourist destination... another 2 min from beach
