Those arriving by train or bus have just a short slight uphill 10-15 minute walk to the property which is set in an enviable location.|Entry is via an electronic code received by email after electronically signing in. Sounds daunting but a simple process. The code is used to enter the electronic pedestrian gate, front door and finally your room. No worrying about lost keys here!|The rooms are modern and fully equipped with air con/heat, TV, mini fridge, small personal safe, large wardrobes. Bathrooms are very clean and the towels and toiletries are quality items. Mattress is comfortable, bed linen top quality. I sleep very well here especially with the electric external roller blinds closed.|Breakfast is cold continental. Hard boiled eggs, regional cooked meats, cheese, jams, breads and pastries. Fruit, juice, yoghurt and cereals. Plus teas, coffee and hot chocolate.|Wifi is fast and reliable.|Housekeeping top notch inside and out.|40 minutes by train to Lisbon €2.20pp each way.|Now that's forty five minutes I won't get back in life so book it!|Oh and it's reasonably and competitively priced for the area. Read moreI honestly can't say enough wonderful things about this place!! If I had to give it a negative review, I could only say that I wish it was adults only. The children that were staying here over the time my husband and I were here, were quite possibly the loudest children I've ever heard. But that's nothing against the hotel. The rooms were stunning, clean, large. The bathrooms were great. The windows in the bedroom and bathroom also helped with great air flow. The breakfast was convenient for grab and go, but we normally ate off the property. The staff were above and beyond kind. My husband and I spend 4 nights here and already plan to come back next April with our family. Honestly, look no further, this is the place. Perfectly walking distance (less than 5 minutes) from everything but far enough from all the noise. We really lucked out finding this place and can't wait...
