A modern restaurant set in an antiquated barn near a lowland river basin in a very small Portuguese town. The menu was simple, traditional Portuguese with a modern twist. The food itself was made from fresh ingredients and well seasoned. The service was excellent: we originally told us that the restaurant was full at 8pm and offered us a table outside, I assume expecting that we would refuse (it was empty, cold and full of mosquitos!). Service that was friendly and relaxed, and attentive enough given the calm ambience of the restaurant and view.
