This beach offers the absolute best sunsets on the entire island. You'll be walking, sitting, and laying on smooth pebbles, as there's no sand, just pebbles. But, it's so worth it. There are wood walking planks throughout the beach, wood sitting areas under umbrellas, and a perfectly protected cove to swim your laps in. Superb restaurants, cafes, bars, sidewalk fruit stands, and a respectable Hotel directly across the street. Street parking is very limited, and there's a tunnel at the end of the avenue that you can park in too. It is a truly magical and peaceful place!
Even though it is a rocky beach, there are sunbeds which you can rent I think though I never did. There are a few restaurants and bars here, even a bar where a small beer is just 1 euro!
The sunsets are the best here. It is not completely oriented to the west but it is even better. The sun goes down just next to the huge cliffs.
