Sol Doce pizzaria — Restaurant in Ponta do Sol

If you're looking for a subpar dining experience, look no further than Pastelaria Pizzaria Sol Doce. I had the misfortune of trying their pizza and let me tell you, it was the worst pizza I have ever tasted. It was devoid of flavor, swimming in a pool of watery oil, and it made me feel sick for hours after eating it.

I was hoping for at least a decent meal, but the pizza was so bad (look at the pics). The service was just okay, but it's not enough to make up for the terrible food.

Dont come anywhere near this place if you value your mental and physical health! We had 4 different kinds of pizzas but all of them tasted like a worn out shoe. They just put way too much low quality cheese on the pizza, which is already lacking taste on itself. The atmosphere is also horrible since the restaurant lies directly next to a very populated street. Also there is no air conditioning in the tent of the building so you just sit there and suffer from the heat. The waiters are quite nice though and the food is also delivered...

This place was busy with locals which is always a good sign. We shared the large two person picado de vaca (slices of beef in a delicious sauce) which comes on a silver platter with a mountain of French fries €14.95 for two. With two beers, two coffees and a garlic bread the total bill was €22.50! Crazy good value.
