Leinster House — Attraction in Portimão

A group of 4 of us visited but had to leave as a talented young lad was learning the electric guitar and loudly pinging out random sharp chords in practice. Whilst we encourage the confidence building and enjoyed listening to the lad play one of his tunes, the practice session went on for way too long, taking over the room & interupting the social environment for everyone. The staff were efficient & friendly & we think that even they had, had enough & in the end the only people that were impressed were his parents. We met others in 'The Church' bar that had decided to leave for the same reason. All good bars are character lead, and this bar has a daytime lady called Claire. Takes no rubbish (in a lovely way), and gives as much as she gets, but better. Unbelievably busy on a Saturday, hordes of people wanting to see different games, nothing was too much. People at the bar wanting service, and it all happened like the Swan on the lake. Went here on saturday for the six nations. Good atmosphere, beer was cold, staff attentive and good service. I understand that it's an irish pub but was disappointed at the lack of respect shown to the english national anthem before the game started. They turned it off.
