One of the many things worth living in Porto is the abundance of green spaces.

Parque da Cidade do Porto is an expansive and tranquil urban oasis located in the western part of Porto, Portugal. it is the largest urban park in the country and a rare gem that blends the vibrancy of the city with the serenity of nature. There are walking and cycling paths, perfect for a quiet stroll or a more active day out, while the nearby beach offers views of the ocean, which can be particularly stunning at sunset.

The first time I came here, I was overwhelmed and excited by the feeling of a forest in the heart of the city. The park’s peaceful ambiance, with the gentle sound of birds and the rustling of trees, offers a space to reflect and recharge.

I might feel a sense of awe at how well the park integrates nature with city life, providing a balance between green space and the modern environment. There’s also likely to be a deep appreciation for the diversity of spaces within the park, from quiet lakeside spots to areas filled with families enjoying a picnic or people practicing sports.

The feeling of being welcomed by such an expansive, beautiful park might evoke a sense of gratitude—grateful for the opportunity to find...

Parque da Cidade do Porto is a beautiful and expansive park, perfect for a full day of outdoor activities. It’s located in a lovely area, offering plenty of green spaces, lakes, and walking trails. The park has a peaceful lake where you can relax by the water or enjoy the scenic views. There are also picnic tables, making it a great spot for a picnic or even hosting a birthday party. It's ideal for a leisurely stroll, a picnic, or a bike ride. The park is spacious enough to find a quiet spot to relax or let kids run around.

While the park is perfect for families, it’s also a great place for individuals who just want to enjoy nature or exercise. There’s a variety of wildlife, and the overall atmosphere is calm and serene. However, I’m not sure if there are toilets available, so it’s worth considering before your visit. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some...

There is no better park in the world! So much life, from ducks to herons, rabbits and geese, tortoise included and amazing vegetation beautiful old trees that remind me of the forest palm trees and colourful flowers. A place to play football, volleyball court and 2 bars, you can spend the whole day doing so many activities you will never finish discovering this gem. I suggest walking towards the beach and enjoy the sunset since the park finishes at the beach. I never get tired of coming here and I do it every day!
