This is a very good fish and seafood restaurant right on the beach in Armação de Pêra. You can sit inside or out, in the sun or in shade. The menu is wide ranging and offers a good choice of both food and drinks. Our meals were delicious with perfectly grilled fish and wonderful starters of fish soup and clams. The white Sangria was yummy and the desserts looked very tempting although by then we'd eaten enough. The staff were so friendly, chatty and helpful in a busy and very popular restaurant. We enjoyed an amazing seafood lunch by the beach. Even though it was 1:30pm, it was full outside so we opted to sit indoors. We ordered the calamari, grilled golden bream, octopus and grilled shrimp. Everything tasted freshly cooked and the bream was a highlight as it was so meaty yet delicate. The dessert menu was mostly homemade so we tried the biscuit layered cake (similar to tiramisu), milk cake, almond tart and carob cake. Excellent setting, on the beach, their big bonus. Service was shocking, none of the 5 items ordered were correct. Forgot the ice with my rosé wine. Forgot my husband 's caneca. Forgot the rice and not potatoes with my calamari. My husband had almost finished his steak by the time they brought the sauce (reminded them several times) and the waiter kept repeating medium steak after my husband specified medium rare steak.
