I have been living in Sines for over an year now and I guess I can consider myself like a local and used to go to this place a lot of times and the management has changed at least twice ! So far so good if it wasn't for the fact that they now have found a way of trying to get more money from the customers with that stupid voluntary tip that shows at the end of the receipt! It's ridiculous! Yesterday I just went there for 10 min had to small IPA one water and one glass of white wine and they charged me 18 euros for thes things and not happy with that tried to already include a tip in the bill of 1.8 euros !!! I mean this is ilegal good job I have refused to give the tip because they were trying to force me ! And secondly for the prices they currently charging the waiters should not need a tip anymore! Also sometimes they put a dJ with some really annoying loud music that I wish I didn't have to listen and then included 3 or 4 euros more because of that DJ . Sines is not Lisbon or Porto or Algarve ! How dare them to charge us this...
Read moreI tried the shrimp hotdog and the fried fish hotdog here, and both were amazing. The shrimp hotdog was a solid 10/10 – honestly the best shrimp sandwich I’ve ever had. The fried fish hotdog was also delicious, definitely a 9/10, with high-quality fish and a really tasty sauce.
The portions were just right, and I really liked the presentation with the wooden board and newspaper-style paper. The drinks were great too: the iced coffee was creamy and well-balanced, and the red fruit cider with real fruit inside was surprisingly refreshing and delicious.
The terrace had a cozy atmosphere. It’s a bit tricky to get there by car, but absolutely worth it. The staff were very friendly, though it took a little while after we got the menu before we could place our order. Still, the food more than made up for it.
Price-wise, it’s not the cheapest, but definitely worth the money. I’d 100% recommend this place and will...
Read moreWhat a lovely place this was! We were with 3, me, my wife and my 2 year-old daughter and we had a lovely lunch (and definitely ordered too much food).
My wife had one of the best vegetarian burgers of her life, I had delicious lamb chops served on a bed of traditional Portugese 'migas' - I ignored my fries because the migas was so tasty. And our daughter had some beautifully seasoned breaded chicken. We were so happy with this meal.
Then it has a beautiful terrace overlooking the beach and harbour where I took some of my best photos of the area.
Then the service was maybe the best part of it all which is saying a LOT. Our every need was attended to before we could even realise that we needed it, and they were very understanding and accommodating of our daughter - they were very sweet and charming with her.
I didn't eat anywhere else in Sines, but I honestly feel like we...
