Water Park Gerês — Attraction in Terras de Bouro

If you know how to wakesurf/wakeboard, don’t do it here. The staff clearly doesn’t know what they are doing… no weights on the boat to create a nice wake, the wave on the right side for regulars doesn’t work, the driver doesn’t know how to drive the boat for the rider, he loses too much time picking up the people.. disappointing. Paying the full price for a very basic experience… We explained them the situation, and they did nothing to compensate us … Better teachers, experience in Ferreira do Zezere if you want to do...

I can't post without a rating but have not used the facilities as they are currently closed. The website clearly states the park is only open June-September, but Google has its hours showing open now so posting to make sure others aren't also confused. During my visit to the area in April there was no 'beach' or access to the water with building works underway and boats tantalisingly...

Lovely place to swim and spend the day playing in the water. Loads of shady spots to sit, shallow swimming for younger kids, free entry. Parking is limited, get there early or else there are places to park along the road. Opportunity to hire paddle boards, kayaks and rides on dinghies pulled by a power boat , jetbikes for hire 55euro, 15min. Nice cafe opposite for...
