Doha Airport – Family Quiet Room Review 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Location: Near gate C9, right across from the “C9” sign.

The so-called Family Quiet Room at Doha Airport isn’t quite as “quiet” or “comfortable” as you might imagine. It’s sometimes a bit noisy, and while there are long benches, they’re not that great for sleeping. If you really need rest, you can lie on the floor—though it’s hard and a bit cold, so wearing a long-sleeve shirt is recommended.

The benches aren’t very comfortable, and there are often people nearby. It’s not a private space, so there may be noise and movement around you. Bring earplugs and an eye mask to help block it out. Also, try to use your clothes or bag as a makeshift pillow.

These quiet rooms are handy benefit to customers with late night or early morning flights and who do not have accommodation it gives them somewhere where I can stretch out and rest on banana Style chairs.

The to unfortunate things about these rooms is no one police is the idea of quiet room and inconsiderate idiots come in here and then start talking and carry on on their phones or talking and laughing with each other when if they do that they should leave and go out into the body of the airport.

Good place to rest. Though it was family, I see many singles using this room. Not enforced. Good seats, it could have been dimmed lights.

What I dint like was the Quite room was Full of announcements every 20 seconds. Each and every flight announcement with crazy annoying tones of airline staff were loudly played in the quite room.

If I compare this with Europe, better facility, poorly managed with lack of experience.
