The Roman Arenas — Attraction in Bucharest

A shameful experience, Sphinx Experience. This place was an awesome venue for concerts. It is now merely a ruin, after two decades of Sphinx Experience management which manages or owns this place. There was literally no investment other than some paint. Decorations are merely kept in place, the seats are old, toilets are a shame. It is a walk in time, everything was made 50 years ago and looks accordingly. The stage speakers have worked for tens of years and ruined lots of concerts. Bands management staff should avoid this place like the plague. Sphinx Experience (now called Arenele Romane SRL) has lots of debt and no plans to improve this...

It will be ok if we had a place to sit aswell the staff put us like a ships on the cave...and there wasn't polite at all.

In the same time hundreds of people waiting on line for drinks etc inside the main concert area causing distraction & confusion. This should be outside or in the entrance not inside... I understand the fact that need to make money..but at the same time their main goal is to offer entertainment and pass the music to the people....and not sell as many popcorn and sodas can be....

At the end No one tell us that we will be stand for three hrs even if we had ticket of 200lei....Never again if they don't...

Situated in the "Carol" park ,this place is awesome and it.s been Bucharest's top location for events. When it's cold outside, they set up a warmed tent and the interior is very energic , in the summer every event is held outside. I have visited this place lately to see the great metal band "Bullet for my Valentine" and I enjoyed the event , at the end of it I took a nice walk through the "Carol" and "Tineretului" park which are very close to this situated. A "dislike" for this location would be the small capacity of people the tent can hold and the old buildings that remained unchanged...
