Hotel Les Jardins Carol — Hotel in Bucharest

This is NOT a 4star establishment. In fact, not even a 2 star, probably 1 star would be more accurate.||The Breakfast was very basic and not appealing at all. Fruits only oranges for 3 days straight. They never renewed what was over. We always had to ask for fixing the coffee machine (small machine out of water, out of coffee beans, or getting full from ground beans), for some bread, for coffee mugs even. The stuff was helpful everytime we asked (not extremely friendly though) but come on, I am on vacations, it was exhausting to look for the stuff all the time for the basics. Just take a look on what is missing or not working and fix it, I shouldn't be asking all the time. It got really exhausting and annoying fast. We also had to ask for body towels, cause they only leave you two small towels per person. Which means that even cleaned, someone before was using the same towel for his genitalia.|It was also annoying when we realised (noone told us) that you can order for poached or fried eggs or omelette from the kitchen, but when we did on our last day our request was denied cause "they was cleaning the kitchen". Seriously?? The juice is watered down to the level you barely understand what you drink.|The room is very very small and short space. A tall guy might bump his head every time. I would not recommend if you are taller than 1.90 |Also very noisy. Both from road and from people walking past the hallways, the whole floor trebles .same with the passing tram. |Please install a net on the windows!!! Being an attic is way too warm (we visited on April so I cannot imagine summer) and we could not open the windows all the time cause we were afraid pf mosquitos, bugs, even if small rodents could climb the room and get in. I repeat: please install nets!! |Room size is wayyyy too small. I mean, probably the smallest room I ever encountered. No fridge either and smell coming from the sewer.||Overall, room size, breakfast, stuff, building overall, and other amenities, this is NOT a 4star hotel. It is 1 star, or maybe 2...

This is a general warning to all prospective guests of this hotel.

Unfortunately, during our stay and in our assigned room, we left in the closet of the room some clothes (jacket and sweater for women) and after a couple of hours of check out and realizing that we forgot our belongings there, we confidently called the hotel staff (and via email we attached to the staff photos of where we left our clothes) and the answer given was that we had not left anything in the room (BIG AND PROVEN LIE).... then we insisted via email and to date no one from the hotel or Booking has responded....

It is unfortunate that in an establishment of this supposed category (3 stars or more) the staff in charge (or the cleaning staff) has the lightness to STEAL (for that is a sad and fragrant theft) personal belongings of their guests.

Honestly, it is not advisable to stay in places where such reprehensible and dishonest acts are the dish of the day (and I am sorry for the honest people who work there).

0 empathy on the part of the staff in dealing with these outrageous and unethical acts of their staff.

I hope they will show their faces and be adult, honest and sensible... we will take this complaint and the evidence to the relevant authorities.This is a general warning to all prospective guests of...

My dad and I visited this hotel for just one night, but had a lovely time. The food was absolutely amazing in the restaurant! We had the pleasure of having both dinner and breakfast there. The staff were very friendly, although they spoke little English, all of our needs were met. We had the orange room with two single beds, which was extremely clean and well decorated as can be seen from the pictures. The room was very hot (to be expected in Romania in June), but the air conditioning soon solved that problem. The bathroom was sparkling clean with hygienic seals on the toilet seat and shower and the water temperature was easy to adjust in the shower. Overall, we were blown away by our experience and couldn't recommend...
