It seems to me that this Hamlet phenomenon is gaining momentum in society. It is more modern than ever, maybe even 400 years ago it was a much rarer phenomenon than now. Partly about this staging of “Hamlet Story” by Natalia Semenova. This is the story of the Hamlets of our day. Fantasy on the subject, no matter what questions that Shakespearean hero would ask, find yourself in our realities. And Hamlet in the production immediately 3. If you saw him in the cinema, you are lucky if in the theater you are a winner in life, but if you heard him read poetry in the form of poetry .. This is magic. Everything falls right into the soul. Every word. Even if you are not a fan of the poetic genre, you will not immediately realize that these were rhymed lines .. you just feel everything. There you can put your ghosts to sleep for a while and you can not notice strangers, or vice versa, meet everyone at once. Our Hamlets also drink different things: cognac, whiskey, vodka. Tastes can be different, as are professions and lifestyles. But everyone is asked by this eternal and by no means rhetorical: "To be or not to be." In the play, the lines of William Shakespeare are intertwined with verses by Joseph Brodsky, David Samoilov, Arseny Tarkovsky, Bakhyt Kenzheev, Boris Ryzhiy. The action takes place simultaneously in three dimensions - on stage, in music and in cinema - on a huge screen, the viewer will see a story about a person who once asked himself a sacramental question.

The video series accompanying the stories of our heroes, in my opinion, is too symbolic. This is a “movie” where everyone is free to come up with and explain the author’s idea. And this explanation will completely suit the author, because he himself would not have come up with that. It's comfortable. Take the auditorium in co-creation.

But what is certainly beautiful and absolutely luxurious is the music. Music by Aleksey Aigi and his ensemble 4’33 ”. Musical compositions are not something that complements and decorates a performance. This is what makes him. Without this music, for sure, it would have been a completely different story. I’m a fan, I went to concerts and listen on headphones. Alex is a very talented musician and composer. But what kind of violinist he should not hear but see .. Firstly, it is beautiful. Secondly, it is so expressive, as if on stage a rock star gives out a solo on the foreground with an electric guitar, and not a classical violin sounds. In general, this is exactly what it is worth seeing and hearing once, than reading what I think about it.

Отвратительное отношение сотрудников перечеркнуло все плюсы. Пришли семьей на концерт в первый раз, на балкон. Пришли вовремя, до начала концерта. Сотрудник зала на входе не объяснил, в какую сторону идти на наши места, просто рукой махнул. Помощи от других сотрудников зала тоже получить не удалось, хотя просьба была. Такое ощущение, что они сами не знали, как у них расположены места. Пока пытались найти свои места и как на них лучше пройти, начался концерт. Тут сотрудник внезапно вспомнил, что он тут на работе и грубо выгнал нас из зала. На вопрос, как нам всё-таки пройти на наши места, издевательски предложил "постоять, иначе придется поднимать весь ряд". Получается, всё-таки был в курсе, куда нам идти. Почему сразу не указал в ответ на прямую просьбу сориентировать, когда можно было ещё до начала концерта пройти и не мешать другим зрителям - вопрос. В качестве альтернативы стоянию до антракта предложил пройти к нашим местам вдоль стены. Вдоль стены пройти оказалось невозможно и травмоопасно, но почему-то сотрудник этого, опять же, не знал. Не знали и мы, поэтому попытались. В результате моя мама упала, к счастью не получила травм только благодаря неравнодушию и помощи других зрителей. От сотрудников, опять же, полный игнор. Только настоятельное и неоднократное требование позвать начальство принесло результат. Хоть какую-то помощь и взаимодействие удалось получить только от девушки-руководителя. В итоге получилось добиться того, что мы в середине первого действия наконец попали на концерт, на который пришли с билетами и ко времени. Хотя посадилт нас и не на свои места. Извинений от сотрудников так и не получили. Шли в честь приятного события, но настроение было испорчено. Может, конечно, в партере на более дорогостоящих местах отношение к зрителям человеческое, но проверять желания нет. Упд. В антракте администратор подошла, извинилась, в качестве компенсации пересадили поближе в партер. За оперативность благодарю, но сесть на свое место на балконе вовремя и не портить себе настроение было бы все...

A great music venue, one of the best in Europe. Very clean and tidy, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The acoustic properties are AMAZING: you can be seated anywhere, and still hear everything!! The concerts are great as well: the program is very rich and varied, they've got plenty of Russian performers as well as the visiting ones. The prices are not cheap, but the experience is really worth it. The only downside of the MMDM is, ugh, the toilet accessibility. Seriously, there shouldn't be a queue of 70 people waiting for to use the toilet every entr'acte... It really dampens the otherwise...
