I checked in on the 26th of the july with a reservation for two swiss classic rooms. I had originally asked that the rooms be next to each other (1304 & 1305) and they said 1304 is available but asked us to wait 5 minutes for 1305. We waited for over 3 hours just for reception to tell us that the guests in 1305 had elongated their stay, so they gave us a room far away from the other room which we had to wait an hour more for. Fast forward to today, time for the check out, I asked for paper confirmation of our stay because airports sometimes ask for that. We had to wait over an hour just for 5 pieces of paper. Everyone around us was checking out smoothly and hastily except for us. When we finally got the papers after around an hour and a half, 1 of the papers was duplicated so one of our family members didn't get theirs. Waited a while for that 1 final piece of paper. Another receptionist came and told us that we had to request for these papers before the check out time. How were we supposed to know that if you don't give out these information. The other hotel we stayed at gave us these papers instantly at check out and we didn't have to wait as long as today. I'm late for my flight because the airport is over an hour away and the reception interfered with our schedule by taking two hours just to print papers. The receptionist also had the audacity to tell me after they gave me the papers that "airports don't really ask for this paper". The reception services and most of the staff were really unhelpful and quite disappointing when compared to other hotels. This really ruined the hotel's reputation for me. To add on the 1305 room situation, I was not informed on when the room would be available so I could move into it. On the morning of 29th of july, the receptionist told me in a sarcastic tone "we've been waiting for you 1305 is available" I didn't get what she meant at first because I was just appalled by her tone, but I came back the same day to different staff members and asked them about 1305 if it's available. The manager came and rudely explained to me that the room was available on the 27th but I didn't come back to ask for it and that they held the room for 3 days -even though the 29th is the third day- He also mentioned that they have been "calling me nonstop" but I have not received any call whatsoever even though I was in my room most of the time. Read moreThe hotel is very excellent, but its location requires transportation to any place you will go to, you will miss the pleasure of walking to tourist places, unless you do not care about that, I would rate the hotel 5 stars because it truly deserves it, but there is an employee named Anastasia, she does not deal with professionalism, she lacks it, during my stay at the hotel when I ask any employee I am met with a smile and welcome and the explanation is detailed, but Anastasia does not want that, she will meet you with a frowning face and deal with it rudely, while I was talking to her there was a woman who had just arrived at the hotel and asked her about the bathrooms and she deliberately ignored her as if she did not hear, and the worst of that is what happened to me in my room on the day of my departure, at 12 noon I was surprised by her entering my room and telling me to get out now, my answer to her was that I had asked an employee, unfortunately I forgot his name, when I could leave the hotel and he answered me at 2 pm, based on that I stayed, and I mentioned to her that I was not late in leaving at all, then she gave me 20...
Read moreThis is by far the best hotel that I’ve stayed in any location, and as an experienced traveler, I have stayed in many. The staff is very courteous and extremely responsive. Any requests and house keeping shows up within minutes, which is far cry from the typical not-so-friendly customer service that I am used to seeing in Europe. Breakfast options are really good. Depending on what type of room that you are staying in, if you have access to the executive lounge is an added bonus. Good breakfast, not so great lunch, but really good dinner options. Speaking of dinner, definitely try the restaurant at the top, you get a stunning view of Moscow.
If you are not into a big breakfast, the small cafe at the ground floor also has some good light options. Restaurant on the second floor has some good options.
