Such a disappointment, especially after seeing the Museum at Nevis.
Staff were pleasant & welcoming. However, the main exhibition was both small and in my opinion, quite disinteresting - it was based on the history of carnival and led up to current day music.....
There was then 1 other small room with a very limited display of information and small relics. The fact that the museum is small, is not the problem. The Museum at Nevis is small but well presented and packed with interesting historic facts.
The Website states that "A tour of the Museum will take you on a journey through the early stages of sugar cultivation. From densely covered forest to the golden and black volcanic sand covered beaches, we boast a diverse ecological experience which is on display in the museum.....Inside the museum, one may feel as if they are living in the moment as there are ample amount of information and artifacts to relate to." This was the kind of content I was interested in, but this was NOT the reality of what is currently presented at all. Some of the photos that are currently on Google reviews are not a reflection of current displays.
