Beautiful and comfortable hotel. My tour group only spent a few days here but it was a great way to start off our vacation in Egypt. The rooms were posh and everything was immaculate. We had a decent view of the pool and the Faisal Islamic Bank Building. The Sheraton Cairo is technologically up to date. My roommate and I took turns sitting out there and relaxing for a bit. The A.C. in the room cuts off when you leave the door to the balcony unlocked. There must also to be a card in a slot by the door to keep the lights in the hotel room functioning. This is my first hotel where this was necessary but it made sense. Bathroom was nice and predominately made of marble, you have to be extra careful when stepping into and out of the shower. Marble does get slippery when wet. Some members of our travel group actually placed a towel inside the shower to lessen the chance of slipping. The shower stall and the tub are separate, such a pity I didn't get a chance to use the tub. This hotel is a bit unusual in that it seems to have 2 lobbies, one that exits to security and the street/parking and then the second one where you have reception/check-in and a comfortable sitting area. There's is a hall of sorts that leads to the other portion of the hotel where you will find a restaurant/club , the casino and we lead you with and elevator ride up to the breakfast buffet. It is a complicated layout but it seems to work, but I would prefer clear signs (Arabic & English) instead of bothering the staff. The room carpeting seemed to be steam cleaned every time we left the room for the day; I would assume this was done to prevent that Cairo grit from staying in the carpets. On our last morning the Sheraton prepared box breakfasts (as requested by our tour guide) for our group on our way to Luxor. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for accommodations while visiting Cairo.

Our stay at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino was absolutely fantastic! The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We especially loved the men who greeted us when we first entered and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. On our last night, we dined at the Middle Eastern restaurant (see food photos), and it was extremely good. We enjoyed our meal so much that the chef, Mohamed (I believe), came out to say hello and check on how we liked the food, which was a nice touch. The food was exceptional! Additionally, all our room service food was delicious and arrived quickly. The view from our room was beautiful, and the upgraded modern rooms were so nice and comfortable, with plenty of space. It was perfect for me traveling with my father, who is 68, as the room was large and ideal for our needs. The housekeeping service was very nice too. We always came back to a cleaned room, which was so nice after a long day, and they helped accommodate us with an iron swap because ours wasn't working properly. We also received a complimentary chocolate plate on our first night and fresh fruit baskets during the other days, which made our stay even more special. I also loved that there is a bank on-site, which was very convenient. Carol at guest services was so sweet and helped us by printing our boarding passes for Luxor. The customer service exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this hotel!

Cairo can be a whirlwind, but my stay at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino was an oasis of calm. The location was perfect – right on the Nile with stunning river views from my balcony (definitely request a Nile-facing room!). I spent evenings unwinding on the balcony, watching the city lights shimmer on the water. The staff were fantastic – friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. One morning, I was craving something typically Egyptian for breakfast, and the staff surprised me with a selection of local specialties that were absolutely delicious. It's those little touches that make a big difference. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a luxurious bed that practically begged for me to sink in after a long day of exploring. The pool was a lifesaver during the hot afternoons, and while I didn't visit the casino myself, it seemed like a popular spot for other guests. Now, a couple of things to keep in mind. The hotel is right in the heart of Cairo, so it can get noisy, especially with traffic. Also, while the breakfast buffet was amazing, some folks might find the other restaurants a bit limited. Overall, though, I absolutely loved my stay at the Sheraton Cairo. It's a luxurious hotel with a ton of history, right in the heart of the action. If you're looking for a comfortable and stylish place to stay in Cairo, with amazing views and top-notch service, then this is the place for you!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible resort and dining at the buffet at Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. Mr Omar Azem made us feel right at home every time we visited the buffet. The variety of dishes offered was impressive, catering to all tastes with a blend of local Egyptian cuisine and international options. The quality of the food was top-notch, from the fresh baked breads and appetizers to the main courses. There were several live cooking stations where chefs prepared delicious meats and omelette station. I particularly enjoyed the traditional Egyptian dishes which were full of flavor and authenticity. The dessert section was equally delightful, with a vast array of sweets and the coffee!!. The chefs clearly take great care in presentation and taste. Service was exceptional throughout my visit. The staff was attentive and quick to clear tables and offer drink refills, all while maintaining a friendly demeanor. The atmosphere was elegant, with a spacious dining area that didn’t feel overcrowded, even during busy meal times. The views of the Nile from the restaurant added to the overall ambiance, making it a memorable dining experience. Seeing the cruises If you’re in Cairo and staying at the Sheraton or nearby, I highly recommend giving their buffet a try. It’s a perfect place to experience a wide range of delicious food in a beautiful setting.

The hotel is located in a great location in Doki in the corniche street close tp Tahrir Street, its a few miniutes to many places as Jazeirah, Zamalek, Tahrair Square, Mohandiseen and many more places. The hotel considered one of the best hotels in Cairo and it comes on the top 2 places which I like to stay in Cairo. Its highly satisfying hotel. The staff there are very kind and polite starting from the Reception, house keep, room service, and the people in the kitchen are awesome. The rooms are very nice with good spaces and balconies are perfect you can enjoy watching cruises on the nile and the pool. The breakfast is excellent, food is well done & fresh and the seating is amazing you will enjoy taking your meal facing the river nile 👌 In the ground floor there is duty free shop, few banks branches, gifts shop, ATM machines and much more. There many good resturants and cafes on the first floor. The hotel in general is very clean, nicely decorated and there are many good seatings in the common areas. I highly recommend 👌

The Sheraton in Cairo was amazing. I am an ambassador with Marriott and travel all over the world and their service was so amazing. The room they provided was amazing I think it was 1674. It was actually 3 rooms! The ladies at the club lounge were sooo amazing and nice and took care of any needs you wanted. I would leave the room and come back and there would be deserts and fresh fruit waiting on my dining room table. When I got scammed at the pyramids they got me my money back. They let me extend my stay in a rather extravagant room. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend this property. It’s club lounge is so very nice and with amazing breakfast. Good local food is nearby and it’s restaurants are good too but I enjoy the street food. I have no point of reference from any other hotel In Cairo as this was my fist time there but I don’t see the point in staying any other hotel while in Cairo. Awesome! The pics are the views from my room.
