The ski trail was very well maintained and fit our needs pretty well - we were looking for a beginner trail for an adult who knows how to ski. One small issue with the trail is that after the initial ~50 m of flat terrain, there is a downward slope which can be pretty scary for someone who never stood on cross country skis.
We rented skis from a ski rental/shop that's right at the start of the trail. Their website wasn't working and the opening hours were nowhere to be found on their truck but we were lucky and they opened within 10 minutes of our arriving (shortly before 9am). The people there were nice and helpful and we got our equipment (shoes, skis and sticks) quickly - they actually told us to pay when we finish skiing because they were busy opening up.
There was a cross country race there so most of the trails were closed so most of the visitors were skiing on the beginner trail and it got a little busy. It would be helpful if they announced the race on...

Dakujem Vám za to čo ste urobili a robíte pre bežecké lyžovanie vo Vysokých Tatrách. Radi prispejem na úpravu tratí a dáme aj viac. Prosíme Vás ale aby ste uvádzai presné a jasné údaje. Včera som bol na tratiach v Tatranske Štrbe očakávajúc že budú upravené. A neboli. Boli zrejme upravené 21.1.2023. Ľudia milujú bežky, predstavte si že niekto ide vlakom z Trenčína do Tatranskej Štrby veriac že je trať upravená. A stačí iba správna...
