Zip line: we’ve never had a worse tourist/activity experience than with this company. Staff were uninterested in answering simple questions; instead showing us YouTube adverts and ignoring us afterwards. No initial safety talk took place despite being told to listen to it. The guide rushed us to leave with no water or toilet break, and to sign the T&Cs without explaining. For 40 mins of the activity you are stuck in an old Land Rover without proper seating, on a very unstable road by a cliff edge, with a very rushed driver who used his phone in one hand (but it’s apparently ok because he’s been doing this route for a while (they even later argued the dangerous transport was “part of the adrenaline”)). Guide was arrogant, showed off, and made jokes a lot instead of delivering a fit to purpose safety talk. He showed no appreciation for guests who were nervous, and rushed them onto the zipline. The protective gloves were knackered. The line seemed safe structurally, but the staff are not attentive enough to safety methods. We had done many trips like this, so weren’t scared, but felt safety and enjoyment was completely overlooked, so decided to not ride the zipline. They made us walk away alone and find the truck ourselves. We then had to wait an hour for the group to come back with no water, despite town being only 20 mins away.

This was not the fault of Altitude Activities, our tour company, who dealt with the issue perfectly and provided the lacking service. They did not disregard safety and welfare as the zipline company did.

When back in the office they argued against everything bad that happened, offering a partial refund of €40 (2 ppl) (the other €70 they kept apparently for the abysmal transport- that’s €35 for a 20 minute drive). An Unforgettable Soča Valley Adventure Thanks to Aktivni Planet! Our recent trip to the Soča River area in Slovenia was truly incredible, and we owe it all to Aktivni Planet. Booking all our adventures was a breeze – a simple email was all it took! We kicked off our experience with canyoning, and it was absolutely amazing, thanks to two of the best guides we could have asked for. They kept us entertained and laughing the entire trip, making every moment memorable. Next up was ziplining, and it was an exhilarating ride! The five ziplines were long and fast, allowing us to truly "fly" between mountains – an incredible perspective of the stunning landscape. We then joined the kayak school, where we learned essential skills, including what to do if we flipped our kayak, all thanks to our excellent instructor, Albert. It was a practical and fun way to get more comfortable on the water. We wrapped up our adventure with Saulo, whose amazing rafting skills made for an unforgettable finale. We loved jumping off rocks and sliding down rafts, all while having an absolute blast. From start to finish, Aktivni Planet delivered an exceptional experience. Very nice experience in kayaking with Aktivni Planet and our instructor, Feli. She was very professional, focusing on safety rules at the beginning and providing good advise on how to use our paddle and our body in the most effective way. We were only three in her group, so she gave us personal advice to improve our practice of kayaking, this is very important. She also showed us nice landscapes that we would have missed if we had focused only on kayaking. She was very nice all afternoon long, and she also took some pictures of us on the water and sent them to us at the end of the day, which makes good memories. Aktivni Planet provided all the required stuff in addition to the kayak: wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, shoes, skirt... You really have nothing to prepare. About the Soča river, it is absolutely beautiful! The white stones and the cold temperature make it perfectly light blue. I've never practised kayaking on such a lovely river. The river is perhaps a bit challenging for beginners and this activity was designed for people with little experience of kayaking, but I think Aktivni Planet also has some classes for beginners.
