Tandem Paragliding Bovec - Flying Bear — Attraction in Bovec

I recently had the incredible opportunity to go paragliding with Martin and it was an experience I will never forget. From start to finish, the entire adventure was seamlessly organized and executed. Pre-flight Briefing: Before we took off, Martin provided a comprehensive briefing on safety procedures and what to expect during the flight. He was thorough, making sure I felt comfortable and understood the instructions. His professionalism and knowledge instilled a lot of confidence in us first-timers. The Flight: The actual flight was nothing short of breathtaking. As we soared above Kobarid the views were absolutely stunning. Martin was fantastic—calm, reassuring, and very skilled. He pointed out landmarks and ensured I was enjoying the experience to the fullest.

Safety: Safety was clearly a top priority. At no point did I feel unsafe or anxious.

Martin and his team were extremely friendly, which helped settle any initial nerves my friend and I had when setting off for our paragliding flight. Martin and his team clearly explained what we had to do for a successful take off. Making take off very smooth and easy. Once in the air my tandem guide, who has 30 years of paragliding experience, made me feel relaxed and told me to focus on the stunning views of the Julian Alps. He also pointed out some of the highest peak of the Julian Alps, giving some interesting history of the area on the way. Landing was very smooth also, making this an all round unforgettable experience that I will always remember. This was an a-ma-zing experience!!!

We had the morning paraglide tour with the one and only Flying Bear (= Martin) and Josef. The drive and walk up to the mountain was already an experience. To run down the mountain with the paraglide was another one… Before you know it you fly like an eagle. We had great thermals, pushing us further up. We flew at the level of the clouds that were just sliding over the mountain. The view of the valley was fantastic. We took a bit rougher way down by going into a spiral. The G-forces were another adrenaline rush in itself.

I want to thank the Flying Bear for this great experience. Martin’s passion for paragliding is contagious and we had some good laughs along the way. It is an experience I will never forget and I’ll probably do it again...
