Kasabrin Bar — Restaurant in Kranjska Gora

Been coming here for years, and they have recently expanded their outside tables...more seating, nice. After ordering coffee and waiting for 20mins, I finally go inside to check what is taking so long?? And there I see the very friendly bartender working on one tiny coffee machine. She's doing the best she can, but obviously, she can't make coffee out of thin air. Maybe the owner wants the guests to leave and never come back? How can you expand the terrace without expanding the coffee capacity? The only reason I'm giving it a 2 and not a 1, is the very friendly waiters who keep this...

Currently in the middle of 'remodelling' so the usual draught Union Pivo is unavailable (bottled only for the moment), but this is still my favourite go-to bar to sit in the evening watching the world go by or reading when I'm on holiday in Kranjska Gora.

It's been a favourite for as long as it's existed, and though the staff have changed each summer when I come back, they're always friendly, multi-lingual & you'll never wait long to be...

Siamo stati più volte al Kasabrin, per aperitivi o snack veloci. Questa volta ci ha piacevolmente stupito con una novità: delle ottime focacce preparate al momento, servite calde, croccanti, con pane al rosmarino e olio d'oliva (buonissimo!) e farcite con ingredienti di alta qualità (affettati di prima scelta, mozzarella fior di latte... tutto di provenienza italiana). Il simpatico e gentile Maurizio (che le prepara) ci ha illustrato le varie proposte introdotte da poco in menù, come per esempio anche degli invitanti taglieri misti con affettati, formaggi, bufala, e l'immancabile focaccia! Disponibili anche per eventuali variazioni negli ingredienti. Anche il vino Cabernet consigliato era molto buono. Decisamente una deliziosa alternativa al solito toast (seppur buono), ovviamente poi sono disponibili molti altri snack ma direi che con questa nuova proposta "Aperitivo Focaccia" il Kasabrin può ora distinguersi senza dubbio dagli altri locali. Il locale è moderno e "caldo" allo stesso tempo. Dispone anche di tavoli esterni (e annessi plaid se dovesse far freddo!). Servizio veloce e cortese, prezzi nella media. Ora so che posso trovare la mia amata focaccia all'olio e rosmarino anche a Kranjska Gora! 😋...
