Love going to the Bunny Park! The animals are looking so healthy & happy!
I know there were rumors years ago about the state of the animals.
So I must be honest, I was hesitant to go to the bunny park.
Having said the above we were pleasantly surprised at th upgrades and how well the animals are being looked after.
It's an absolutely lovely place to spend the day with the family and it doesn't cost a fortune! You can feed the animals, play on the playgrounds .
Sit and have family picnics at the tables and chairs provided.
There is also a shop within the park so one is able to support the park via this shop .you can buy food , carrots and much more.
Entrance has been free each time we have been which really helps when you have a bunch of kids !
There are also rides , like the ones you get at the carnivals. So that's another added bonus.
I can honestly say this will be our new go to on a Sunday with the kids . This venue ticks most boxes for me if not all.
Welldone to all involved in running , maintaining and doing such a great job of it at the bunny park !
Take care and...
Read moreFirst visit to this bunny park and I must say I'm surprised how good it is, for a nice stroll with the Family, enough to keep the kids busy, bunnies, goats, sheep, ducks, geese even a cow that's more than willing to eat your carrots. Little push cars to hire for the kids. Small tuck shop that sells some snacks and drinks. A definite must for a small family outing, was clean and pretty well looked after, animals all look healthy and well fed. Picnic areas. Must look very nice in summer months when grass is all green. Very helpful Car guards watching the cars outside, returned my sons cap which we dropped on the way in, and didn't realise it. Great place. And free entrance. Second visit was spoilt by a staff member who walked up to us to say park closes at 4pm being 3:30 pm I said politely we just got here will let the kids play for 5mins and we will leave, she was very rude, and gave me bad attitude, and proceeded to tell me she will lock the gate..... nice way to Ruin a great place, staff like that are not needed, rude and felt harrased by her and her...
Read moreMy 5 year old granddaughter were there on 08 July 2025. Beautiful weather. We enjoyed the hours we spent there. Entrance is free. No dogs allowed. We bought food for the animals and I ate a cheese griller. Ice cream also cery nice. Very nice. Cards accepted. The rides were R20 per ride. Cards accepted. Both the kiosk and rides are privately run. Some of the rides are out of order however. The attendant there was very friendly and helpful in assisting my granddaughter on the rides. Will definitely go back. Beautiful geese and ducks. Lots of goats. A beautiful cow. Nice dam. There was a security lady at the gate and what looked like a private company security guard. I did not get the impression that they watch the cars. However my car was fine. Most of the pipes for the bunnies need a coat of paint and some paving needs to be replaced. There is a leaky tap. I reported it and hope it gets fixed. See photo. Overall a nice few hours out in the sun...
