Ballito Junction Regional Mall — Attraction in KwaDukuza Local Municipality

If there was a 0 rateing I would give it. I had a shocking experience last week. I was walking past the security hyperstore and had a hearty friendly greeting by the salon across it. One of the lady's gave me a smile and good morning. Witch is more then any other tenant or person has done ever as far as I know. In balito. Was a nice change but I was surprised to see on my way out that afternoon that same young lady who had made my morning. Was being shouted at by a representative of the mall. Unknown what department. But middle age women dressed neat. I had over heard her saying I'm sick of u people. Or something of the sence I didn't have time to here everything as I was in a rush and passing. Regardless. I was surprised that anyone would be offended by a friendly greeting as it's rare to find manners of that sort in these days and age. But all around good parking variety of shops and a amazing checkers & woolies. And food court. My only concern is a article I had read this morning about a women being killed in the mall recently. Been to the Junction last Frìday looking for a watch battery (smallest in size 377/577 MD). Popped into Photo Lab and I was directed to a shop +/_ 100 meters away that sells watches. The guy at the counted indicated that they do have the battery. He quoted R50 and I was happy to purchase it as I was without a watch for two weeks. The guy brought the battery which was the correct size. I had my Card and was ready to pay for it. But the guy changed the price to R100 after chatting to someone behind the door. I refused and walked out. I later went to GAMES STORE and purchased the same battery for R5-00. I could have purchased 20 batteries for the R100 that was quoted by the watch guys. I am in the Ballito area for a year and made regular trips to the Junction. This was my biggest disappointment as I could have been taken for a ride. My son in Jo Burg experienced a similar problem. The Merc Remote battery was flat. At the Dealers they quoted R2000 for the battery. He decided to buy the exact same battery elsewhere which cost him only R50 and changed it...

DO RESEARCH BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH CASH CRUSADERS - RUDE AND ARROGANT STAFF -I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the level of arrogance displayed by certain staff members at this branch. It is important to understand that without clients, there would be no employment and no business. We brought our TV in to see what could be done, but the lady handling this was the most arrogant person in the service industry that I have come across. I would like for her to receive a written warning. Is this the kind of person representing the name of the company? We used to go to the Pinetown branch, where the staff were helpful, kind, and very professional; unlike the individual at the Ballito branch. They speak to customers as if they are insignificant, like we owe them a service. Without clients, you have no salary. Maybe you should consider teaching your staff how to work with people.
