Wow! Loved this place! Free entry, free tea, can dress up & take pictures, check your health, shop in their store.. we loved their ginseng candy, and enjoy the museum. We did all the hands on activities they offered. You have to make reservations because they need to get everything ready. You can pay with credit card. We made facial spray, lip balm, facial soap, and did the medicinal foot bath. It was amazing! We' had so much fun. We stayed about an hour and a half. Extremely affordable. Photo ops outside and an easy walk to medicine herb alley. You can park here as well. Make sure you get your parking pass stamped to get an hour free. They open at 9am, but I think they start hands on experience at 10am. Have fun!...

Really cool museum. I’ve never seen anything like this before and I thought it was cool to learn about different medicinal plants. There are interactive activities - red ginseng foot bath and soap making - so you could spend quite some time here. I suggest you start with going to the 2F to see if there is an upcoming activity for you to participate in, and then making your way through the museum if there is time in between because not all activities run frequently. Note almost all signs are in Korean so get your Google translate camera out. I think there’s an app you can download but I refuse to download yet another app for a museum. There’s a small gift shop on the second floor near...

An interesting and informative place to learn about the history and tradition of Korean herbal medicine. The museum offers a well-curated look into Daegu’s long-standing role as a center for oriental medicine, with exhibits on medicinal herbs, ancient tools, and traditional healing practices. The interactive displays and detailed explanations make the experience engaging even for those without prior knowledge of the subject. It’s not a large museum, but it’s thoughtfully organized and worth a visit if you’re curious about Korean culture, traditional healing, or the city’s historical trade in medicinal ingredients. The area around the museum also has herbal shops that complement the...

I usually enjoy learning new things, especially for free, but Yangnyeongsi Museum was boring and uninformative beyond belief. Traditional Asian medicine is already unreliable with our advanced medical technology, but this museum makes said technology utterly meaningless too by providing inaccurate information on every screen they have within this facility. Entrance is free, and it may give the opportunity for parents to tell their children about how far we have come in medical science, but apart from that, I would suggest you don't waste your time here.
