Bomgoro Guest House — Hotel in Daegu

The location is perfect! Maybe 10 minutes or so from 중앙롱 station, but right in the heart of the oriental medicine tradition of 대구. Right outside is the medicine museum and 대구제일교회 (attached photos). There are also plenty of lovely cafes, boutiques and restaurants close by.

The host is incredible friendly and speaks great English, so if your Korean sucks (like mine) you won't have any trouble. He is also super knowledgeable about the local options for tourists.

The owner helped me enjoy Daegu more than any article or guide could. Not only that but he helped me find a gym and a laundromat nearby, going so far as to call the gym to ensure I could attend. The rooms were always cleaned and the location is central and ideal as the buses and train stations are within walking distance. In Daegu the buses take you to the attractions more than the subway so Bomgoro is ideal as it’s near the buses that are relevant...

11시 가까이 늦은 체크인을 했다. 늦게 입금하고 셀프 체크인을 하고 들어가야했는데 친절히 잘 설명해 주셔서 편히 묵고 왔다. 침대에는 베개카바,수건, 여름 이불이 깨끗이 개켜져 있었고 사용 후에는 베개카바와 수건은 밖에 바구니에 넣어달라고 하셨다. 질서정연한 사용법도 맘에 들었다. 방에는 벙커침대 두 개가 놓여져 있었다. 침대와 침대 사이 공간이 한 사람만 움직일 수 있을 정도로 좁은게 좀..나 혼자 4인도미토리를 사용하니 불편함이 없었겠지만 4인이 4인 도미토리를 이용한다면 좀 불편할 듯하다. 반면에 욕실공간은 충분히 넓어서 이용에 전혀 불편이 없었다. 샴푸,린스,샤워젤 모두...
