Daejeon Expo Science Park — Attraction in Daejeon

Daejeon Expo Science Park is one of those places where you can enjoy a bit of everything — history, science, and a relaxing walk. The park was built for the 1993 Expo, and you can still see Hanbit Tower standing tall with great panoramic views of the city. There are small museums and displays showing expo history, plus some interactive science exhibits that kids enjoy. The walking paths are wide and peaceful, with plenty of trees and seating areas. The Expo Bridge is especially beautiful in the evening when the lights come on, and sometimes there’s a music and fountain show near the plaza. It’s not a huge theme park, so don’t expect thrill rides, but it’s perfect for a 1–2 hour visit if you like scenic spots and light learning.

어릴적 대전 엑스포때 방문 한적 있었는데 20년도 훌쩍넘어 다시 방문하게 되었습니다. 그때 화려함은 사라지고 한빛탑과 광장만 남아 있습니다. 그래도 탑과 광장이 남아 있어 어릴적 추억을 되내어 볼수 있는 좋은 시간이었습니다.

한빛탑 개방시간은 오전 9:30 ~ 17:40 이고 입장마감은 17:20분입니다. 관람요금은 어른 2500원, 청소년 2000원, 어린이 1500원 입니다. 한빛탑 주변으로 대전 엑스포 기념관과 야외 전시장이 마련되어 있습니다. 천천히 산책하면서 둘러보기 좋은 곳들입니다.

밤에는 엑스포 다리 아래로 내려 가면 예쁜 야경도 볼수 있습니다. 불빛이 비치는 엑스포다리는 물론이거니와 물에 비친 건물의 불빛들이 흡사 서울의 한강 둔치 느낌도...
