I went there to buy a lens. A few second hand ( or refurbished) camera shops are there on the 1st floor. In one store, there was a guy wearing big eyebrows and a wig. When I asked for canon 24-105, he said it is only 350000 krw. Oh, he is selling it much cheaper price than I expected. So, I carefully checked the lens, took some pictures using my camera and confirmed that I buy the lens.
Then, that guy told me my camera has a crop frame, the lens will not support wide-angle pictures and I should buy a Tamron 18-300 instead of 24-105. I answered back telling him I know the issue with crop factor and I have a full-frame camera too just let me buy the lens I want. He again gave me an opinion. According to him, I should buy canon 24-70 which is more expensive (550000 krw). He claimed about a problem with the lens aperture. I didn't agree with him. Then, he told me to buy 24-105 IS-2 which is the latest and more expensive lens.
I was confused. So, I went to another store located away from that store. They sell 24-105 for 650000 krw. Then......, I understood the approach of that big eyebrows guy. He just tells cheaper price to attract customers and slowly change the customer's mind and convince them to buy totally different items whatever the seller want.
I went back to the big eyebrows man and asked him to tell me the real price of 24-105 lens. I pretended that I will buy the lens at that real price although I didn't want to deal with him anymore. Then, his face was changed like a rotten onion ๐๐. I told him not to lie customers " ๊ณ ๊ฐ๋ํํ ๊ฑฐ์ง๋ง ํ์ง๋ง์ธ์"
Be careful in the phone and camera...
ย ย ย Read moreThis mall is very confusing. It's basically 2 separate buildings on top of the Yongsan train station. There are 6 or 7 floors. It is not laid out like a normal mall where you have an open center and all the stores are along the perimeter wall of the building. This place is more like a single store with mini stores and shops inside it with no logical path for foot traffic to follow. Also, getting from one building to the other building is equally confusing. Everything sold in the mall is new and modern, but it felt more like a discount mall. There is a decent selection of restaurants which is nice and it has 2 huge parking garages. However, you can only access the Moon parking garage after the mall closes because it's attached to the train station. You cannot get to your car after the mall closes if you park in the Sea parking garage. It's a very dumb design, and I didn't see any signs posted mentioning...
ย ย ย Read moreI visited this mall several years ago and will NEVER forget how awesome it was! This mall consists of over 3500 shops, over 100 eateries and 10+ floors to explore! I know it's not the biggest mall in South Korea, but it's still pretty massive! Every shop/eatery I visited was so clean and the customer service was wonderful! I even watched a movie at their IMAX Theater that day, which was also huge! I went to at least 5 different shops to eat at because I came from the time the mall opened to closed, so you can imagine how much calories I burned with all the walking I did, lol. Visiting this place all day was much worth my time because I didn't know when I would ever come back since I live in the states. I highly recommend visiting this place and if you don't want to spend an entire day there like I did, give yourself maybe 3-5 days to try and walk through...
