Juhamnu Pavilion (주합루; 宙合樓), the Secret Garden's grand first impression, stands majestically above Buyongji Pond. Juhap (宙合), means "to become one with the universe", it embodies the connection to knowledge and nature. This two-story structure once housed the royal library (Gyujanggak 奎章閣) and King's office, with it's upper floor offered exclusive panoramic views. Located in spot #10 Buyongji Pond and Jughamu Pavilion. Nice photo spot and place to sit and chill with the views. Would be nicer...

부용지 뒤쪽으로 주합루가 있다. 기단을 높게 쌓았다. 어수문을 통해 들어갈 수 있는데 지금은 어수문 부터가 통행금지라 주합루에 들어가볼 수는 없다. 정조 즉위년에 지어졌다. 정조가 직접 1층에 규장각, 2층에 주합루라고 이름 붙였다고 한다. 다만 규장각이 점차 방대해져 궐내각사 권역으로 이전된 후에는 이 건물 전체를 주합루로 불렀다고 한다. 개인적으로 후원에서 가장 들어가보고 싶었던 건물이었다. 주합루 2층에서 부용지를 내려다보면 경관이 꽤 아름다울 것 같으나...
