Good little samgytan place five minutes away from the Hanok Village but not touristy at all. They have an English menu now and the friendly owner will help you with suggestions. When we went we were the only tourists there, and the only other clients were a group who seemed to be regulars. After ordering the owner immediately put out some banchan for us, and we didn't wait long for our food. The samgyetang was good, with a nice thick broth, and the ginseng taste was not overpowering. They also provided some ssamjang to go with it, which was very tasty. Finally, we also ordered some bibimbap which was good, especially the thin-sliced squid. The service quite fast and friendly, there were some local guests dine-in here. The taste was fresh and warm, loved it, the rice like sticky rice, had octopus inside. The ahjumma teach us how to eat chili with chili sauce, honestly, the chili not spicy at all, the chili was crispy, but local loved to eat this. The ahjumma also push me to tried bimbimbap, but i refused because i only want to eat samgyetang.

Had a taste of samgyetang in Korea and it was so perfect for the freezing temperatures we had been having. The chicken was super tender and I liked all the accoutrements that came with it.
