My first time here was in 2017. I bought a leather jacket whose price was unbelievably low and a wallet also at a bargain. To this date, the quality of the items are intact and resalable.

So in my visit today, I sought out for the vendor of the jacket and showed him our picture together last 2017. He smiled and gave me a nice pat on the shoulder. We had our picture taken again.

This time I bought two shoulder bags real leather and I my for 20,000 and 30,000 KRW. The vendors were a nice old lady and a kind old man. Another unbelievable buy. The market also has upgraded its interiors and amenities. I feel so much at home here because they arw many items you need for yourself or for the house. Even if they are second hand, they have been screened to project very good quality and a bargain price. No trip to Korea would be complete without.a visit to the SEOUL FOLK...

Some of the vendors here sell new stuff, mostly clothes, some of them specialise in different things like fishing, numismatic, antiques, vinyl, jewelry, repairs of different kinds, and so on, and the rest is... Junk. You really have to look and dig around certain stalls to find something worth your while and money. If you are a tourist and not really looking for clothes, this place is more for looking than buying. The stands stretch all around the designated building. Sometimes, things are just on the ground as people are trying to get rid of things. Sometimes, the prices are a bit steep for a flea market, so haggling is recommended. Parking lot by the market is pricey, so consider...

If you're looking for odds and ends, 2nd hand items from hardware tools, to bikes and clothing. It's all here. There is even a section for more fun and intimate items for everyone. Not sure if they are 2nd hand or not 🫣😜

There is a food court on both the upper and ground floors with the ground floor being the larger one.

There are many stalls outside the flea market also.

For those who aren't interested in the shopping experience and have been dragged along for the experience, there are plenty of snack and drink options along the way.

There are certainly a lot of stalls here to keep you occupied...

Seoul Folk Flea Market near Sinseol-dong metro station. Huge market place to explore easily spend half day or more as you walk thru the vast items on display & sale. Offering a wide variety of antiques, second hand stuffs from traditional to modern Korean items such as clothes, accessories, souvenirs, electronics, tools and food that you can’t find anywhere else. Great way to immerse in a different side of modern Seoul city. It’s open from 10am-5pm daily. Nearby is walking distance the Dongmyo Flea market flood with cheap second hand clothing, shoes, caps and bags.
