I’m not a big fan of traditional markets that are packed with tourists, as they often have stalls that feel repetitive. However, my visit to Seoul Central Market was a refreshing change. This market is primarily frequented by locals, so it has a more authentic feel, with fewer tourists and a better variety of stalls that aren't overly repetitive.
I always enjoy exploring markets because they give a glimpse into the local traditions and culture, and Seoul Central Market is no exception. It offers a more genuine shopping experience, and you can find unique foods and products that reflect everyday life in Seoul.
Unfortunately, I visited a bit too early in the day, and it seemed like many of the shops and stalls were geared towards evening customers. I would recommend coming later in the day to fully experience everything the market has to offer. Despite this, I still found it to be an enjoyable visit and appreciated the quieter atmosphere compared to the more touristy markets in the city.
