Welcome to korea. How about visiting this historical church in youido,seoul. It is the biggest church in the world until now. (enlisted church members: 750,000) If you visit london, you may go westminster abbey or If you visit Rome, you may go st. Peter's cathedral. those are old historical heritage, not lively.

But Youido Full Gospel Church is alive church. Every Sunday you can attend worship service at am7 ~ pm5. And you can find this church full of believers on every time. This place is really Hot place. Because the Holy Spirit is working and make your heart warm & hot with Jesus`Love. This church is the spiritual & mental core of south korea. You can find something which made a poor & humble country so blessed in korea.

I don't speak Korean, and I went here while visiting Seoul to attend church, like I do every Sunday.

If you don't know anything about the shuttles, then you basically walk the 10 minutes from the nearest bust stop. No big deal, but plan your timing for it.

I checked online for the English service, and it said 11. I was about 15 minutes late because of not understanding the transport, my fault. But not a single person at the church said hello, there were hundreds of people, but not one wanted to bring me in. Perhaps because I don't look like I speak Korean.

When I asked about attending, I was told "they're finishing up, and come back at 1." They wouldn't let me into the sanctuary for the last 15 minutes.

The signs in the church lead you to the historical aspect of the church, which is nice. So I'm giving it a star because some of the signs are in English. The service didn't even have English subtitles. So my overall experience here was "Korean's only" and that's not the church environment I would expect.

FYSA- it's more Lutheran looking in style and hymns. But another comment indicated they speak tongues, so it seems to be a unique niche. The road leading up to it is full of buses, so I assume there's a transportation site that gets you here from...
