On Fall 2014, began at the RACE VILLAGE, in Alicante, another edition of the ROUND the WORLD OCEANIC & SEAS RACE: “ FORMULA 1 OF THE SEA” with blue Mediterranean skies at the PORT of DEPARTURE of this famous an glamorous international nautical event & with the newest satellites & technology on board of these LIGHT but at the same time Magnificent SAILING ships with stopovers around the world such as MIAMI ( Florida)or NEWPORT( Rhode Island) en la Nueva Inglaterra both of de lis Estados Unidos de America ( USA). It seems that THE OCEAN RACE is the MODERN VERSION “ LIFE AT THE EXTREME” of the expedition of the three famous & legendaries “ CARABELAS”: La Santa Maria”, “La Pinta” y “ La Niña”. All of them, crossing straight ahead the ATLANTICO OCEAN to DISCOVER & reach in the end, what these SAILORS ( women & men) from the past ( more than V Centuries ago) named as “ EL NUEVO MUNDO”. Nowadays, in Spring 2022, we are looking forward to another edition of this AMAZING oceans & seas, nautic & aquatic sports LOVERS COMMUNITY, circumnavigating the MOTHER EARTH !!! En otoño 2014, empezó en el RACE VILLAGE, en ALiCANTE, otra edición de la Carrera OCEANICA y de los MARES alrededor del mundo: “FÓRMULA 1 del MAR” con cielos azules mediterráneos en el PUERTO de SALIDA de este famoso y glamoroso evento internacional náutico y conn lo más nuevo en satélites y tecnología a bordo de estos LIGEROS pero al mismo tiempo magníficos barcos veleros con paradas alrededor del mundo tales como MIAMI (Florida) o NEWPORT (Rhode Island) in New England, ambos en USA!!! Parece que the OCEAN RACE es la VERSION MODERNA “ LA VIDA AL LÍMITE” de la expedición de las famosas y legendarias tres “ CARABELAS”:” La Santa Maria”, “ La Pinta”, y “ La Niña”. Todas ellas cruzando directamente el OCEANO ATLANTICO para DESCUBRIR y alcanzar, por fin, lo que estos NAVEGANTES ( mujeres y hombres) del pasado llamaron “‘EL NUEVO MUNDO”. I visited Museu The Ocean Race and was truly impressed. The exhibits are expansive and of exceptional quality, offering a fascinating insight into the history of the race. The interactive displays were particularly engaging for children; my daughter was thrilled with the mini-simulators. Additionally, there are mini-videos and films that further enrich the experience. While the museum lacks guides or staff to explain the exhibits, this is likely due to the fact that admission is free. The only information requested upon entry is your country of origin. This place pulls you right into the heart of the world’s toughest sailing race with jaw-dropping interactive displays and a real race boat you can explore.
