Utterly horrendous experience - the chef is racist & despicable. Complained to the waiter about one of the fillet steaks we ordered as it was riddled with fat throughout making 50% inedible. The waiter agreed this was not good and not normal for a fillet steak. He said he would talk to the chef and suggest a discount for this one steak. The next thing we know the chef is at the table telling us “all you ‘British’ are the same, you all want everything for nothing”. To say I was shocked is an understatement, I have never been so upset and angered, nor felt so discriminated against. We had no problem paying the bill, we simply made it clear that one of the steaks was not good quality at all. In the end we paid the full bill and left. I leave this review so that any one of any nationality seriously considers whether they want to eat and spend their good money at such an horrendous restaurant as this. I’m still in shock at the awful man / chef and his audacity. We are a couple who are on the second night of our holiday and I made a reservation at the restaurant based on reviews.
