Béton Brut — Restaurant in Alicante

We were excited to try your restaurant after seeing it featured extensively on Instagram, where it’s positioned as a luxury venue with excellent service. Upon arrival, we headed to the rooftop to enjoy the view and have some cocktails. Unfortunately, the entire area was filled with guests smoking at their tables, making it difficult to breathe or enjoy the space. As a result, we decided to go downstairs to the first-floor restaurant and sit at the bar. The hostess greeted us warmly and kindly offered us a choice of seats at the bar, which we truly appreciated. We're big fans of spicy margaritas and asked the bartender if he could make one. He confidently said yes, but what we received was quite unexpected — a pink-colored cocktail made with a Mexican spicy sauce. While we understand that every bar may have its own take on cocktails, this version didn't resemble a margarita in taste, even though the presentation was nice. The only detectable flavor was the sauce, which completely overpowered the drink. We politely asked for a replacement, hoping a classic margarita might be a better fit. Unfortunately, the second drink was extremely sour, with an overwhelming amount of lemon juice, making it undrinkable as well. We chose not to complain further and simply asked for the bill. We paid and left — leaving behind two full glasses, which we hope the management noticed. Additionally, during our entire time at the bar, there was a dirty tablecloth draped over a surface right next to us (picture attached). Despite several staff members — including bartenders and others passing by to grab ice or speak with the bar staff — no one seemed to notice or take action to remove it. Considering the bartenders were not particularly busy, this lack of attention to cleanliness was disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable for a place presenting itself as upscale. We had high expectations based on the image the restaurant projects online, and it’s disappointing that the reality didn’t match. I hope this helps improve your service and guest experience...

Ni la comida ni el servicio están a la altura del restaurante. Es bonito y la ubicación es inmejorable pero o se ponen las pilas o por muy bonito que sea no tardarán en cerrar. Teníamos ganas de subir al rooftop pero tras la experiencia y la clavada que nos metieron por comer algo que no lo vale, decidimos irnos.

Lo primero es que reservamos con una semana de antelación. Nos llegó un mensaje en el cual indicaban que había una lista de espera pero no hubo más comunicación ni positiva ni negativa, con lo cual llegamos y nos dicen que no tenemos mesa. Finalmente nos encuentran una mesa.

Una tercera parte de las mesas de todo el restaurante estuvieron vacías prácticamente toda la noche. Según ellos controlan el aforo( mi conclusión es que se les queda grande)

El camarero nos sugiere unos platos y accedemos a ello. ( nos propuso básicamente lo más caro pero no lo supimos hasta el final. 2 de los platos que pedimos costaban cada uno más de 100 euros, lo podrían haber anunciado…

Pedimos unos vermouts a 11 euros cada uno, nos llega el vaso medio vacío con el hielo incluido que eran dos chupitos… los vasos quedaron vacíos en la mesa durante toda la noche.

Nos traen, una “ensaladilla rusa” que era básicamente mayonesa con una gamba.

Las croquetas de gamba roja, supuestamente gamba roja… sin más. No parecían caseras

La sugerencia: langosta con patatas, huevo y una especie de chorizo… básicamente borracha, solo sabía a alcohol, el huevo salado, al igual que el chorizo picante y las patatas no estaban ni bien cocidas…. Pedimos pinzas para la langosta y no tenían… 190 euros el kilo… nos salió por 133 este plato y ni siquiera nos trajeron unas toallitas para lavarnos las manos. Nos propuesieron rehacer el plato y dijimos que no porque ya no nos apetecía más ese plato. Por muy bien que estuviese, la langosta con chorizo no pega ni con cola.

Carne al centro que tardó demasiado en llegar. No nos preguntaron ni en qué punto queríamos la carne. Por fuera la carne estaba pasada, carbonizada, por dentro cruda… pudimos comernos una parte. Por supuesto las mismas patatas de río que ponían con la langosta. Ya podrían variar un poco y no poner estas patatas hasta en la sopa!

El pan, se notaba que llevaba todo el día cortado, excesivamente salado y chicloso. En un sitio como este te esperas variedades distintas de pan y también pan caliente recién horneado. Nos cobraron 2 servicios de pan cuando solo pedimos uno.

En el ticket nos ponen aperitivo de cortesía, es decir, gratis, que nunca llegó.

Comentamos esto y tuvieron el detalle con los postres.

Durante la cena había música de fondo agradable, derrepente casi cuando terminamos de cenar ( otras mesas estaban esperando a cenar) ponen la música a todo volumen y con luces. Muy bonito y guay pero he venido a un restaurante, no a una discoteca. No se...

Went to Bēton Brut two nights in a row — both times, we were the last ones to leave! 😄 If you're looking for a fun spot to dance in Alicante, this place is worth checking out. The music was great for dancing, the drinks were strong (in a good way 🍸), and the crowd had good energy.

It's located right by the marina, which makes it a great spot to start or end the night. My only small gripe is that they close at 2am, even on Saturdays — a bit early when you're just getting into the groove. We still had champagne left and wanted to hang around, and to be fair, the security team was nice enough and let us linger for a bit before gently asking us to wrap it up. We eventually rolled out at 4:30am. 😂
