Bodegas Almijara — Attraction in Cómpeta

This is a great little family run business. We turned up and asked for a tour which we were given. The lady even though she didn’t have much English was very capable of explaining things . It was great to see the grape press as it was a very simple process . We then got to taste the different wines which were lovely all be it one of them too sweet for my taste buds. There is also a shop which you can buy the wines and other produce. We were also greeted by the very friendly dog called Akira who just loves belly rubs !! Well...

Estabamos de turismo por Cómpeta,y nos queriamos llevar el tipico vino dulce,pero estaban todas las tiendas de vino cerradas en esta localidad,(siendo sabado por la tarde) y decidimos bajar andando a la Bodega Almijara,ya que nos dijeron que estaba abierta,ya que solo cerraba los domingos,y era pronto. Llegamos en 10 m andando desde el centro de Cómpeta,y nos dieron a probar el vino dulce,y nos encanto, compramos 3 botellas,unas para nosotr@s,y otra para regalar. Nos atendieron amablemente,Totalmente Recomendable,ya que si en el pueblo de Cómpeta,estan cerrados,los sabados por la tarde,hasta las 19'30 horas,estan abiertos en la Bodega y te puedes llevar el vino dulce,en alguna de sus variedades,vino dulce,semi-dulce o nectar,que es el mas dulce,de esta localidad,de la cual es tan...
