Casa Jardin is a stunning guest house in the heart of Competa. I'm a returning guest and will continue to be.

It feels like 'coming home' to walk in the doors. Every communal room is beautifully and tastefully created and invites you to take comfort and relax into them, from the breakfast room, terrace and lounge, to the rooftop terrace which is the best place to sit and watch the sun set with a glass of something from the honesty bar.

I've stayed in 2 of the bedrooms and both have been a delight. Really comfortable mattresses. Quality bed linen. Plenty of pillows. Coffee machine, tv with a range of apps, air-conditioning and fan. The bathrooms have nice hot showers & hairdryers with diffuser (a first for me to find this!). I slept well each night.

Breakfast is varied, satisfying and fresh. Local produce is used. Freshly squeezed juice from oranges in the garden! Warm croissants and eggs to your preference is a great start to the day! Good to sit and chat with other guests and the hosts.

Ian and Anthony are fabulous hosts. They are warm and welcome everyone into their home. They know all restaurants and local services, so are good for recommendations. They work really hard to ensure a perfect stay is enjoyed by guests.

I can't actually find anything to fault!

A Hidden Gem in Cómpeta – Casa Jardín is Perfection!

Staying at Casa Jardín in Cómpeta was one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, Anthony and Ian made us feel completely at home with their warm, genuine hospitality and attention to detail.

The B&B itself is stunning – beautifully decorated, full of character, and spotlessly clean. But the real showstopper is the rooftop terrace. With panoramic views over the village, surrounding mountains, and even down to the sea, it’s the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine at sunset or enjoy a peaceful morning coffee. We spent hours up there just soaking in the views – it’s pure magic.

Every morning started with a delicious breakfast, served with a personal touch that made each day feel special. Anthony and Ian were always on hand with fantastic local tips – whether it was where to eat, what trails to hike, or hidden gems to explore.

Casa Jardín is more than just a place to stay – it’s an experience. You can feel the love and care that’s gone into creating this oasis in the heart of Cómpeta. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return.

From the moment I arrived to the time I left, Anthony and Ian the hosts made my stay a wonderful experience. Set in the beautiful village of Competa nestled in the Andulesia Mountains this boutique B&B is close to the main plaza where you will find three bar/restaurants serving delicious tapas, traditional Spanish food with cold beers,sangria and various wines. The rooms are amazing with overhead fans as well as air conditioning units which came in handy as the temperatures were well over 30° everyday. Also I had a coffee machine and television which had all the satellite channels. The bathroom area's are spacious with beautifully ornate tiles which look funky and had a kind of 3D effect. To cap it off upstairs there was a roof terrace bar with 360° panoramic views of Competa stretching out to the ocean beyond. I spent a few nights up there having a nightcap with San Miguel beers straight from the fridge and red/white wines to your taste. All in all a truly memorable few nights spent at this splendid B&B. I will return especially as Anthony and Ian are in the process of building a pool which would make this little gem of a place extra special. Thanks for everything and I'll see you both...
